The problem with America is that it is too much a land of extremes. I lived there for four years and have travelled the globe so my insight is invaluable.

America simultaneously has the best and worst educated citizenry in the western world.

The most sophisticated and the least refined people.

The richest and the poorest.

The greatest and worst athletes.

The best and worst healthcare.

The best and the worst food.

The greatest cities and the trashiest.

The fanciest neighbourhoods and biggest
ghettos.

It never ends.
But since you don't live there anymore, they don't have the smartestest, most athleticest and richestest human anymore. :(

Ok I have a couple of questions because you can't trust any report of anything right now.

1. Why does it seem like a surprise to people that most people voting by mail-in ballot voted Biden, so a lot of those votes are the latest-counted?

2. How do the counties where people think there's fraud line up with senate and house votes? I read that republicans will continue to hold the senate majority, and the democrats will still have a house majority but less of one.
This alone shows some shady stuff going on in swing states which Biden is gonna take to win with a little help from his friends...

Compare the swing states to the non swing states which aren't being used to "find" Biden votes to steal the election...

My man, maybe I’m reading too far into your reply, but it seems kinda emotional. Are you saying that an overnight increase in 100k+ votes for Biden overnight in two states isn’t worthy of scrutiny? Not saying Trump is handling it professionally but I can’t fault the guy for fighting if he truly believes he is getting shafted. I agree that he would likely act like a petulant child even if this had been the blowout expected by the polls/media, but this is razor thin and there is no shortage of fuckery going on in PA, WI, MI, and AZ. So while you see no “middle” in the current situation, folks like me who are not emotionally dependent on the outcome see positions like that as laughable, which is surprising for someone as reasonable and pragmatic as you normally are.
Sorry if this has already been said.

We're in a pandemic, so mail in voting is going to be higher than normal. Trump specifically and repeatedly told his supporters NOT to vote by mail.

Based on those two facts, it isn't surprising that a lot of postal votes are blue.

How the fuck do they count 150million votes in a day, yet this bullshit rages on now for the third day over a couple hundred thousand votes? Just fucken nuke the states that can't keep up, make an example of them, and next time the count will go a lot faster.

I myself have voted different parties in different races on the same ballot.

Because of the nature of reasons people voted for Trump last time, it would not surprise me if there were people in my area who voted for him and not republican down the line.

It would be more interesting maybe to know the comparison to previous close elections in those areas than this. Hard to compare a place like PA to Wyoming, but PA to PA makes more sense to me?

Also, the swing states listed clearly have major metropolitan areas and different population densities than the non-swing states, so virus numbers are important in that comparison as well - i.e. reasons people may have chosen to vote by mail, reasons republicans in those areas may choose to vote for Biden, etc.

We have seen some "Republicans for biden" stuff too - @Splinty did you vote Democrats down the line? Or did you vote biden and then a bunch a of republicans for your other races?

Also since the turnout is so much higher, it means people voted that would normally not.
Doesn't seem unlikely some people just cared to do a Trump out vote and didn't care for the other stuff, since they normally would not vote at all.

Georgia has flipped.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Haha.
Trump's twitter is going to be gold this morning. I hope he starts his day on top of Melania, because it's only going downhill from there.

because they have to open two envelopes per vote and check the signature before processing it.

it takes a lot longer than the usual ballot

lol. He hasn’t seen her naked since the stormy Daniels revelation. Even a whore has her line in the sand.

“There’s a lot being made on social media that two of the states that Biden has possibly flipped to take the White House from Donald Trump are the home states of the late Sen John McCain, frequently on the receiving end of cruel barbs from the president, and the late Rep John Lewis, civil rights icon and an implacable opponent to Trump and to racism in American society.”
