I’m all too aware. My dad has been in that world for decades. Joel Olsteen, Kopeland and al those dudes he follows are insane.

The lord works in mysterious ways. Perhaps the plan was to burden my father with the trait of gullibility so people close to him like me can learn from his mistakes. That and I think Israel is to blame somehow.

Question about the voting observation controversies.

How do you all feel about the idea that ballots should be private? Voting by mail means election workers get to see who you are + who you voted for, but we pretty much already put that trust in those people when someone needs assistance in person and that sort of thing.

Do you think anyone representing a political party or campaign should be allowed to come in with a recording device and possibly zoom in to show who voted for who? Do you think those kinds of anti-corruption efforts can lead to voter intimidation and take us even further toward the shithole country fixed election world?

Yes. Some of Rudy's "witnesses" lobbed the complaint that no pictures or videos were allowed while observing.

This is just another example of the disenguous nature of these complaints. pictures and video have not been allowed in the past. They were not allowed this time. While trying to change the rules, they go to a press conference to complain that they weren't allowed to change the rules so someone else must be doing something wrong.

Beyond the fact that this is completely wrong anyways, you and I aren't the appropriate audience here. The courts and judges are. So all of this is gross grandstanding imo. Lobbing complaints fluffed up with disingenuous false statements. How can I trust any of it? They have a reason to lie. In the vein of their own arguments, "take it up with the judge."
