ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh seems like this comes with the territory of what they are trying to do. Granted they are sinking to Trump's level but it is what it is. If anyone deserves it it's him and his people.
That's not how being a lawyer works.

Is it doxxing if it's all public record?
Sure seems like it.

Doxing, or doxxing (from "dox", abbreviation of documents), is the Internet-based practice of researching and publicly broadcasting private or identifying information (especially personally identifying information) about an individual or organization.[1][2][3][4][5][6] The methods employed to acquire this information include searching publicly available databases and social media websites (like Facebook), hacking, and social engineering. It is closely related to Internet vigilantism and hacktivism.

Lawyers are given cases and are agents of their clients. Lawyer's frequently work on cases where they dont agree with their clients.
No one is forcing them to take a civil case. If this was a criminal case where they were assigned by the courts, then I get what you are saying. That's not what's happening here.

If they aren’t partners in the firm they may fear reprisal from their bosses but any lawyer can turn down any case

They also might have had the file come across their desk and gone "This seems like horseshit but we should probably look into it. Better safe than sorry."
