That's why are are buying any and every component we can find, when we can find the components. We are even buying stuff we don't intend to use so we can barter with it.
We will build a massive stock pile, I think you underestimate how much I get into something, when I get into it.
I mean long term. Not many good powders are made in the U.S. shut off the powder valve and that's a wrap. Powder also has some storage requirements that you probably don't want to be buying mass quantities.

I am aware of the storage requirements, the fire marshal will not be amused. up to 25 lbs is fine. 25.0000001 lbs up to 50 lbs need to be stored in a wooden magazine at least 1 inch thick.
I plan to have well over 50 lbs of powder. Right now in the US the issue is primers.

I personally believe this is a different situation than that election, and far worse imo
So in a case where the guy conceded, reneged and then had a lengthy court process, which exposed the election as a fraud, before ultimately conceding again. Is worse? How does one square that exactly?

I'm also wondering how we square away 4 years of "Trump's presidency is invalid because of Russian meddling and we're going to impeach based on this information that we (don't actually) have." isn't corrosive to the electoral process?

Make no mistake, Trump lost and should concede but people pretending this is some sort of unprecedented, democracy altering event are being sold a bill of goods.

For all the loud chants of voter fraud and ballot tampering and what not, it is very rare, possibly nonexistent, that you hear Trump's legal team use these terms in court.

It's almost as if lying to a judge has consequences...

Primers and powder can also go bad depending on how they're stored. That's the storage I was referring to.

Thems the facts, sir. If that didn't erode America's faith in election a few neckbeards falling for a pro wrestling gimmick won't either. People need to accept that the election is over and see y'all in 2024.
This is more than a few neck beards, imo, I understand what you are saying but I disagree.

This is obviously anecdotal but what percentage of people you interact with daily genuinely believe this election was stolen from Donald Trump?

I don't hang around morons in real life.....
This is going to come as a shock to you, but you, me, almost everyone posting here is pretty average.

I don't doubt there are some people who think the election was stolen but again, we have a historical case of an election being stolen. So it's kind of hard for me to entertain that this is the straw that will break the camel's back. Another way of looking at it is if we have a case of a stolen election already, people who say the electoral system doesnt work because corruption are actually right.

Now, no one who supports Trump is going to say "This is like that time we screwed Gore!" but the point remains.

I think the silent majority is getting silenter and the loud morons are getting louder. I think this will bring people on the line between the 2 over to the loud moron side of things.

Too damned many. Including a lot of people that I once thought were intelligent.

There's also no real comparison between this and Gore.

With that, people thought shenanigans may have occurred because Jeb, Florida, etc. But there hadn't been an full on attack on the system for months leading up to the election nor was there an attack on so many states after the election.

This is significantly worse. Plus you still had Gore being reasonable and saying to let the system do the work and let the chips fall where they may.

That sure as shit isn't happening this time.

Gore went through state and then the supreme court. During that process he was not admonished by the media for undermining democracy. After the dust had settled and they still demanded a non binding recount no one said anything about confidence in the system. Like all of the pearl clutching through the Trump presidency this is much ado about nothing. If it stops getting treated as a big deal it will quietly skulk into the night from which it came.

I think you're giving the fringes too much credit and in doing so letting them steer the conversation.
