twisted Healthcare system for sureSo when you give birth and have covid symptoms you're tested and put in a private room. Makes sense, you then get a bill in the mail for the private room 2 months later, lol.
It's gotta suck not having guns while having a queen.
I hope they all recover without any major problems. My uncle, aunt, and young cousin all tested positive for covid-19 a few days ago. My uncle was taken to the hospital at 4 a.m. this morning after he collapsed in his home, but he's now being released so hopefully he recovers soon.
In the Netherlands they are making a law, that gives the government more power in situations like a pandemic, because at this moment unelected mayor's are the ones with the power, handling the lockdowns locally and it's a bit of shit show.
I got my first dose Thursday. We also have "satellite " ICU beds.I got dose #2 of the Pfizer vaccine today. No ill effects at all from dose #1, we will see how the weekend goes.
My region is swimming in COVID currently. We have given up one of the pediatric wards to make more adult beds, and the adult medical ICU’s have expanded into some PACU’s and radiology procedure areas because we need more ICU capacity.
% positive tests in the COVID drive through testing sites was 42% yesterday.
I don't know what that is.twisted Healthcare system for sure
I got one of those "surprise out of network doctor" bills at an in network hospital once. bitches

you could go to an "in network" hospital (in regards to your insurance) and be treated by an "out of network" doctor without them telling you. so then when the bill comes, you are charged an arm and a legI don't know what that is.
Happened to me when my son was born. The neonatal doctor group connected with the unit was out of network. I had to argue for over a year because my insurance was willing to pay the whole amount, since my son was in respiratory distress when he was born and it’s not like there was any other options, but the group was not willing to accept it from my insurance because they kept saying “we don’t accept that insurance”, regardless of the fact that they were paying the entire amount. It was a clusterfuck. The insurance wound up sending me a check and I paid those stupid people. It’s been almost nine years since I paid them off and I’m still annoyed lol.you could go to an "in network" hospital (in regards to your insurance) and be treated by an "out of network" doctor without them telling you. so then when the bill comes, you are charged an arm and a leg
its bullsheet
If you don’t understand the logical fallacies in that info graph, you’re more special than first thought.
agreed. misinformation is dangerous. its divides the people when the real problems are the politicians on both sides and the system as a wholeIf you don’t understand the logical fallacies in that info graph, you’re more special than first thought.

Of the 390 patients who underwent additional testing, 349 completed the lung function test.
Patients with more severe illness commonly had reduced lung function, with 56% (48/86) of those at severity scale five to six - who required ventilation - experiencing reduced flow of oxygen from the lungs to the bloodstream.
For patients at severity scale four - who required oxygen therapy - and those at scale three (who did not require oxygen therapy) the figures were 29% (48/165) and 22% (18/83), respectively."
