Educators are not a priority for the government... Sometimes I feel like education is not even a priority for a majority of the American people.

I don't think education is a priority for most educators.

I know some great teachers, but one a lot of them hit a certain age they're just there for the pension.

I agree. They're just there. My son got so lucky this year, and is doing phenomenal in virtual school, but last year one of his teachers was just... not good.
I often wonder how people teach curriculum they themselves do not understand...

My uncle, aunt, and young cousin all tested positive for covid-19 a few days ago. My uncle was taken to the hospital at 4 a.m. this morning after he collapsed in his home, but he's now being released so hopefully he recovers soon.
