This is what I'm referring to Leigh @Leigh

They want him impeached for endangering them, but only if they can't get him out by a different mechanism for a completely different reason:

The impeachment is for "incitement of insurrection"

25th ammendment isn't though. They're very obviously looking for the quickest route to banishment, I'm surprised to see so many people doing mental gymnastics to explain it any differently.

If the sitting president incites an attempted retard insurrection, he should be removed and is unfit to be president.

That's not what the 25th is intended for. If its going to be used as a tool against poor judgment no president will ever see another term to completion. I'd also like to take this opportunity to point out that the individual spearheading both of these initiatives also advocated that the president's authority over the military taken away last week, that would be an actual coup.

it can't be used against trump. in his own words "actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been my mental stability and being, like, really smart"

that's why he was the one to figure out that windmills cause cancer, that nuclear bombs could be used to annihilate hurricanes, and that hurricane Florence would be "one of the wettest we've ever seen, from the standpoint of water"

:p

I disagree. Section 4 is pretty clear and after inciting an insurrection, I'd say the president is unable to fulfill his obligations as president.

He is able to fulfill his obligations. He's just doing them very badly. Now, if he'd been diagnosed as having dementia or something like that, (I'm looking at your Mr. Reagan) that's a different story but this is being used to punish his bad judgment. In my lifetime I've watched president's lie under oath, presidents involve the U.S. in illegal wars, I even watched an election get stolen. None of these things was deemed egregious enough to warrant a president's removal. Using the 25th on a guy who's conceded and will be gone in 8 days is a dangerous slope to start down.
