I will be the first to admit that I live in an awesome area... could never live in a city again (not even for triple the pay). Love the rural west coast of BC. So much untouched nature it is mind blowing... even when it is storming. We have seen whales and orcas several times off our beach... always something going on. Shame there is no surf here (there is on the other side of Vancouver Island) and the water is cold!
I also was not kidding that these cats could be famous in Japan. They are so odd and always up to something. Might attach a go pro to them and set up a YouTube channel. One of them was missing the other day... we found him asleep on the beach (find him in the pic below). Next year I plan to take them paddleboarding with me (they follow us on the beach anyways and dont mind getting wet).
This poor cat. I have an unhealthy obsession with cats so this dude gets bothered so much. He is my little buddy for sure although he hates me 90% of the time. His name is Smokey, he is 4, he weighs 21 lbs, he hates birds and dogs, loves toys that are shaped like fish.

That's awesome. Do the deer run away when your cats chase them?Amazed at how many cat dudes there are. I have 2 orange tabby brothers that are just about 1 year old. I read recently that the orange tabby was a breed made by the Vikings... kinda cool.
Here are my little bros enjoying the beach, catching snakes (love to catch snakes) and chasing the deer of my lawn. Its non stop entertainment watching these two... bet if I made their own website they would be huge in Japan.

Yea she's a "Victorian Bulldog" which is really just an attempt at a return to historically accurate bulldogs. Bulldog mixed with Staffords Bullmastiffs and Dogue de Bordeaux. She's about 4 months old. Her parents were pretty big (dad 70 pounds, mom 58) so I'm excited to see how she turns out.
The big one's a cane corso.
