the perfect engineering...you can take the rifle down to its individual components with nothing but a spent shell.
if you get a machinist marker, you can polish the trigger yourself. I tuned one up for my step-dad to wreck coyotes, it has perfect 3 lb trigger that breaks like a glass rod.
I’m getting pretty excited about it. Getting ammo around for this is going to be fun. It’ll keep me good and distracted. I’m stoked that it takes 308. This reloading stuff is all new to me but I’m really digging it the more I learn.

Motherfucker built a handgun where each part you take out is what you use to take out the next part. An empty shell even becomes a component in a pinch. Brilliant.
and he patented it on Valentine's Day

I'm might be going down the reloading rabbit hole with a buddy of mine.

You guys got any tips?

I'm looking at this as a starter.

Don't get a lee.
They make some good parts (powder through dies, factory crimp dies, powder throwers) , but I'd stay away from their press. We are loading on a Lyman All American 8.
Big Dummy @Big Dummy what presses have you been looking at?

I went with the Hornady lock and load progressive for 9mm and 223. Just got the 9mm dies in the mail and the press itself was on back order. I’ve slowly been getting materials around, primers have been a bitch, but I’m in this for the long haul. My dad has a single stage RCBS, not sure of the model but it’s been solid. I talked with my gunsmith and he uses Dillon but says the Hornady is fine product, so I’d imagine their single stage presses are quality as well. Jdog93 @Jdog93 I’d take a look on armslist to see if there are any used ones available. They probably aren’t well priced right now but every once in a while you find guys that aren’t trying to retire on ammo and accessories. It rough out there but I have to remain optimistic that this won’t be the new norm.

Lyman is a good press, Dillon is also good and King of Customer Service.

like ThatOneDude @ThatOneDude said, Lee makes good stuff, but there are better presses.

if you want to reload the 7.5 Swiss, I have dies and brass (and powder) but no time to reload.
You're welcome to it if you send the dies back with some rounds when you're done.

:)

Best way to do it. Kits end up being a waste of money. Best advice I'd give anyone, look for a deal on a used press, and then get yourself an RCBS chargemaster lite.

i do not.

but I have reloaded with other people's setups. So I have stuff.

like a match-grade head space gauge for .308, so you can can develop loads for a K31

I'd argue I'm probably quicker than most turrets because of my process but not everyone is going to have an automatic powder dump.
Those are awesome.
I've also been reloading for a few months so I'm basically an expert
