I will say I do owe you an apology for one thing, just got through with a hike up in the Rockies and there was an insane amount of people wearing masks while out hiking, and many of them looked pissed we weren't wearing any...... While outside...... Away from them.....

It's interesting is all I can say about it...I am certain some will wear masks as part of their lives forever, and some will ditch them whenever possible.

not getting cold/flu for over a year has been pretty great, and I spent 4 yrs working 12 hr night shifts in a Class 10 (ISO4) clean room, so masks and goggles don't phase me.

my wife and i went out for sushi last week to celebrate getting a new car. Weeknight dinner, so not packed, but everybody wore a mask until they ate.

My lady is exposed to mouth spray from hundreds of people per week in dentistry and other health occupations so we basically get a chance to catch anything going around pre and post covid. We rarely get sick. I don't enjoy any restriction or safety gear myself, she is comfortable wearing masks and shields and stuff but not N95s.

Dining was great, most people took em off right when they sat down regardless of eating or drinking. Most didn't put them back on as they walked out. One asian couple kept them on until they were eating.
I guess when you go into dining from now on you are just assuming that you may catch something, that is nothing new but the awareness is amplified by the last 15 months events. Restaurant staff was very happy to have customers, I tipped well. Sushi also.
