There does seem to be an increased risk of clots from the vaccine. Latest figures suggest 32 deaths from thrombocytopenia induced blood clots out of 21 million vaccinated so 0.0002% ish.

However it's unclear how great the causative risk is, they've had 150 clots post vaccine in a population of 21 million but your background annual risk is 10 per million ish, so out of that 21 million, you'd expect 210ish cases over the course of a year anyway.

So potentially it increases your relative risk by 2-3 times, which still gives a very low absolute risk.

This is about what my takeaway has been. Granted health authorities here are referring to it as VITT. I dont remember what the other 2 letters stand for but the VI is "vaccine induced".
