ya, about 2 years ago. trying to find a way to get the cartridges here in canada without the product in it. thus, extensive research in glycol and G pens and express mail laws lol.
I do not add flavour but lots of people know add watermelon. whatever that means..

update on the White Rhino!
scrog was a complete failure and I took it out of the grow box. the wire mesh I used was slicing and cutting up the plant so I just got it the fuck out of there...so, after 2 weeks into the 12/12 cycle I was getting worried because it wasnt flowering for some reason. but yesterday I discovered white pistols!! so I am happy!
today I trimmed off a couple dozen fan leaves that were just blocking light and then I stretched out the 6 cola branches out so it opens upfor light in the middle. here is a pic. it looks all fucked up because of the stretching but it will recover within a few days and look glorious! I have 6 weeks of budding to go....safe to say this LED light works SPECTACULARLY!

I started from seed on Sept.19th. and changed to budding on October 19th. (4 weeks and 2 days)
and here is the White Rhino 3.5 weeks into veg. I am starting budding on saturday (3 days from now). after I took these pics I cut the bottom set of branches and leaves off of the plant and it doesnt look any less full lol. its about 5 inches tall and is growing fucking FAST. I love this hempy bucket style of growing. REALLY impressed. also, sorry about the bright pink light, thats the LED grow light. and its as bright as the sun, I like it so far.

temp is right at 26 - 28 celcius and humidity is around 40 - 50%. so its not perfect but its close. if you go through this whole thread you will see the entire construction of my grow box. it cost less than $200 to make. and you can see the results right here.

a quick rundown on what I used to make my growbox.
- an old dresser I converted into a box. the fronts to the dresser I took and made a door out of.
- camping emergency blanket for reflective walls. its made of Mylar. its not called Mylar because Mylar is a brand. but its the same material and about 1/10 the cost.
- 300w LED grow light from Ebay. this exact one. 300W IR Full Spectrum LED Grow Light Panel for Medical Indoor VEG Flower Plants | eBay
- female seeds (self explanatory)
- weather stripping to make the door light tight.
- power bar & timer
- a staple gun to make everything look neat and tidy.
- some hinges for the door and what I call the "dark flap". I will explain the dark flap some.
- 2 4" desk fans, one for circulation and one for exhaust at the top of the box above the light out the back.
- grow medium, I am doing a "hempy bucket" style of grow. google it. I am using a 3:1 perlite to Vermiculite ratio.
- nutrients, I use GENERAL HYDROPONICS: FloraNova Grow and GENERAL HYDROPONICS: FloraNova Bloom

I had an issue of light getting in from where my fan exhausts out. now you dont need COMPLETE darkness. think of a full moon. its dark yes, but not sudanese dark.
so what I did was I attached a piece of wood and a took some Velcro and a hinge and made a flap that I can open during the day, and at night (the exhaust fan is on the timer with the light, the other fan stays blowing constantly.) I just close the flap. come morning when the light is on I open the flap.

go for it man. the reason I built what I did is because I wanted a stealthy type grow and I had an old dresser sitting around haha.
this is my first grow out of it and its coming along swimmingly.

agreed! I was a bit apprehensive about going to LED. but holy fuck is it awesome. kind of hard on the eyes lol, but there is basically no heat, just enough to keep the room around 28 degrees. and at night it drops to around 23. I was thinking of going HPS. but with the size of my grow box (55"Hx20"Dx27"W). I figured the heat would be too much and I couldnt go bigger than 250w, if that. so I took a chance on the LED.
