Astrazeneca has been pulled here for being unsafe. One guy today died from it. CDC is looking into heart damage in children and young adults caused by the mrna vaccines. We've left the world of vaccine related issues being only in the realm of conspiracy theorists. At this point the only places using Astrazeneca are countries who can't get anything else.

I'm never serious...And I ain't gonna start now.

Sad to hear though.

Canada is definitely an America vassal. This is the only place I've heard it mentioned at all.

All's fair in love and war - there's been a relentless propaganda campaign launched at the Russian vaccine by the US and its vassals too.
What have we been doing besides say that they started using their vaccine too early (which was true)?

Look at the post above yours. Here's another one from a few weeks ago.

I could find hundreds in a few minutes. But it's easier just to point to a Washington Post article admitting that there was nothing but shitting on the Russian virus until the studies proved it worked. First two sentences:

"Not long ago, talk of the Russian-made coronavirus vaccine provoked mockery. “There’s no way in hell the U.S. tries this on monkeys, let alone people,” a Trump administration official told CNN.

The propaganda campaign is only the tip of the iceberg. The EU has openly threatened members not to use it. There is credible accusations that the US has done the same to other countries. Vaccine geopolitics is a thing - don't be ridiculously naive. The Russians are trying to discredit US vaccines just as the US is trying to discredit the Russian vaccine.

It's insane. You could argue that Sputnik is the best vaccine out there - only marginally less effective than Pfizer and Moderna but way cheaper to produce.

We've been paying Pfizer/Moderna/J&J $40 for each dose, which is double the market value of Pfizer and close to double for Moderna.

I'm more than happy to stand by my previous statement. My guess would be that it receives no coverage here because we should have bought it and didn't.

Lol @ Voice of America

Those dirty Ruskies have actually been jacking up the prices on it so it's not as cheap as it should be. Still cheaper though.

You're happy to stand by all kinds of retarded statements, I am aware.

Case in point: Why 'lol @ Voice of America'? It is literally the US' largest official state media outlet, dipshit. What outlet should I have used to make a point about official US state media? Cosmopolitan? I've already posted other articles from non-state media too.

Now that I think about it, I remember reading an article recently about the Argentinean President testing positive after being fully vaccinated with Sputnik. The article called into question Sputnik's "alleged 92% immunity," which is of course a ridiculous accusation as many western researchers verified the accuracy of the phase 3 trials showing such a high level of immunity.

Breakthrough cases happen with all vaccines. They're very, very infrequent (0.03% of all vaccinated people in California for example), but they happen. Normally the person is asymptomatic or has very mild symptoms, which means the vaccine is still working.

I don't remember seeing a follow-up article about how the Argentine President was asymptomatic or how he later tested negative (he was and he did).

So are you pretending that you don't know that VOA is a foreign broadcaster or that they aren't American propagandists?

Also, note the beginning of our interaction where I indicate I'm speaking about the experience in Canada, not America.
