That sort of stuff doesn't hit me emotionally beyond a vague sort of "well that's nice, good for her" way, but it is good. Makes you realise that hey, I'm actually very lucky.I need to get my vents cleaned, it just got very dusty.
Shit like that started to effect me more after the birth of my son. That sort of stuff doesn't hit me emotionally beyond a vague sort of "well that's nice, good for her" way, but it is good. Makes you realise that hey, I'm actually very lucky.

Yeah that's fair. I don't have kids. I've also worked a job for years where you're flat out useless if you get emotional due to stuff that you're not directly involved in. ?Shit like that started to effect me more after the birth of my son.
Knock her up and watch how much you change.Yeah that's fair. I don't have kids. I've also worked a job for years where you're flat out useless if you get emotional due to stuff that you're not directly involved in. ?
I have noticed myself being more emotionally affected by things since meeting my wife-to-be, though. Which is strange, but positive.

Never gonna happen. That's the worst case scenario for us.Knock her up and watch how much you change.
I said the same things.Never gonna happen. That's the worst case scenario for us.
Also with my job, every night without fail I get a dozen or more calls with people screaming or crying "My fuckwit kid ruined my life!", so that probably helps put me off. But I have never, ever wanted kids. Not even a little bit.
??
That's cool, I'll be 40 next year and I feel stronger about not having kids than I ever have. Even though materially and stability wise, I'm doing much better now than I ever have. Not everybody is wired for having kids.I said the same things.
