My favorite thing is how the pseudoscience crowd is full of so many people claiming they invented things.

Doesn't account for diabetes or the previously mentioned obesity which is the leading co-morbidity. People are fatter than they were 100 years ago, full stop.
yeah, but nowhere near "fatter enough" to make a difference in the morbidity of SARS-COV2 - especially when you realize that "ventilators" weren't even a thing. The advancements in the last 100 years of medicine and sanitation far outweigh the low percentage increase in obesity.

You're also ignoring that the Spanish flu ripped through the young healthy population, where covid picks off the unhealthy.
life is life, dead is dead. Is something less deadly because it kills people over the age of 45? Is something that kills children "the deadliest"? I don't even know what argument you're making. Old people die easier so they count less? Dead is dead.

and we're weighing that factor against a century of medical and public health advancements.

and you still haven't addressed the adaptability or transmissibility of this virus compared to Spanish Flu.

According to the charts you provided earlier the percentage increase is huge over the last hundred years. Ventilators also aren't great for treating covid as we've learned.

I don't even know what argument you're making.
A disease that by in large part only kills the unwell is going to be significantly less deadly than a disease that kills everyone.

Yes, I have. As it becomes more transmissible outcomes are less severe. This is pretty standard fare as far as I'm aware.

No one said that.
Organization has a broader mission statement than you glancing at their name.

Their words, not mine. The first paragraph of the documents introduction:

We are in the middle of the deadliest US public health crisis in more than a century. Covid-19 has killed more than 500,000 Americans and undermined the livelihood of millions of American workers and families. The virus has had a particularly devastating impact on Black, Latino, and Native American communities, all of whom are suffering severe illness and death from COVID-19 at rates far greater than the general population. Compounding this crisis, vaccination rates in communities of color have also lagged those for whites, and skepticism and distrust of the vaccines are greater in these marginalized communities.

EMAIL/email

This is typical "fact-checking".

No one person 'creates' anything anymore, so far as networking goes.
It's implicit in the word 'network's, and the code he created was a network, and was called "EMAIL", but it is OBVIOUS that he didn't "create email", as it is, and the fact this is pointed out without reference is like arguing with a 4th grader who screams "but that's not what you said!"
Of course his claims are true while being misleading.
That's how the world works.

Are you sure you want to play on the same field as Dr.Shiva?

We can go there.

"He wasn't wrong. The science changed."
What if the science on some of these things changes.
"That won't happen."
That was a good point for sure.

I just wanted to point out Splinty's link falls right in line with the Adminstration's "misinformation agenda".

"We must stop these free speaking folks"
"Believe what we want you to believe and nothing more?

Sidenote saw some 17 year old kid with double mask and face shield driving his car alone on freeway today...I did a double take.
