I get the flu jab every year (even though I know statistically it's not very good) but the Mrs. works with young children and before that I had an old as fuck grandmother and a young nephew so we both went and got it. Never any real side effects. This was a different animal though, and now that they're telling us you spread it even if you're vaxed and they don't know how long it lasts for? Sweet fuck, man.

Either way, glad to hear you're feeling better and that you and mom will be back together soon.

Has a very minor reaction once to the flu jab. First time.

I take it cos I get it free. I'm down as asthmatic but in reality I only get asthma in June because of hay-fever.

But I will take the flu jab.

Why wouldn't you?

I would say I'd be a bit apprehensive taking the flu jab AND a covid booster.

But I don't think I woukd take the covid booster.

Its gone over here pretty much.

It will be a common cold in 6 months for 99.6 of the population thanks to our uptake of the vaccine.

Its accepted that if you have a reaction to the first az jab you have more than likely caught a dose previously.

So you've all probably had it.

Rejoice. You are the 99.7‰

You are not special. But you are alive. And that's what counts.
Jab diminished natural immunity according to a study
Allegedly
natural immunity may end up being superior

which is why I think antibody tests should be taken before Jab when possible, and antibodies should be allowed in place of required vaccination for employment, travel, etc...

Posted the study probably 10-15 pages back

I'll just trust the science.

It seems to have worked over here.

It has shrunk my penis by a couple of inches. Wife is happy about that and my trousers fit better.

So happy days.

Sounds good
I respect your decision

I'm not posting anti science FYI...It was science that showed a drop in natural immunity from covid "jab"...It wasn't anecdotal, it was lab work by actual real life scientists!!!

That's like saying have measles to not get measles.

Or polio ffs.

Humans have evolved and we are slowly, very slowly crawling out of the post Trump truth world.

I hope that texan governor gets a dose. Begging for a vaccine.

Like he hasn't had one 8 months ago.

Get political if you must

Just sharing science

i'm not telling you to get covid or the flu...just replying to your statement of "Its free, why wouldn't you get it"

I don't care what you do Fingies, I love freedom of choice...I also prefer informed consent for those choices

I'm afraid I tapped out on the masks some time ago.

But as I said.

We've beaten it here thanks to the massive uptake in getting the jab

Bare in mind as someone deemed a key worker I never stopped having to travel into work. Even during the height of the madness I wasn't worried.

I had it. The biggest effort was to protect the vulnerable. I was never vulnerable.

I am surprised at the kiwis and the Aussies tbh. Its been 2 years now.

I go the pub here but have to wear a mask.
I can take it off to drink though.

Doesn't make sense....But if I want to go the pub I'll abide by the rules or ill stay home.

I'd definitely be interested to see a link.

Who did the survey?
Department of Defense I think, I remember reading "Pentagon Study"

The original study seems to now be being a paywall for 37 dollars, was free last year...there are also multiple debunks/fact checks about it so make of that what you will

It showed a 36% increase in coronaviruses among the flu vaccinated, it also showed the flu vaccination protected against some other non respiratory illnesses

I believe this table was from original study

Not trying to imply or tell anyone that the flu vaccine is ineffective, just sharing a study I read sometime last year
I think it can be found in some articles from last year...Study was from 2020 I believe and the data used was from 2017-2018 flu season

I've lived a life and I've taught ladies plenty.

Just interested where you're getting these results from bother.

Care to provide a link or are you just spit balling?

Either way it's cool.

I'm not one to kiss and tell. But I've been seen with Farah. I might fall from a tall building. I might roll a speeding car.

But I'm the unkown vaxxer. That made Fauci such a star.

Its only eh? A eh? Eh?

Ya, the walk to your table with mask then take it off is pretty silly.
Par for the course though...I will abide if I wanna dine in.

This guy has a different opinion, whoever he is

I seem to recall the flu vaccine is ever only 75% they take the variables of the 9 biggest strains from the year before and just hope the mutations don't creep above it.

Still a bloody good vaccine mind.

Anything over 54% is deemed a success..

I think sometimes it is less than 75%
I don't know, haven't looked into it and haven't ever gotten one

I will pass personally

I have no issue with the flu shot. It's not very effective, but the personal cost (no financial cost, little to no side effects) mean I take it. I didn't get one in 2020 due to lack of access,

When I said I have no interest in another I was referring to the covid booster that they apparently want everyone to get in perpetuity.
