MSNBC is for the military industrial complex rather than against Biden. Subtle distinction, but an important one.

Even MSNBC is against Biden.
Also I don't think I've ever watched more than an internet clip of Rachel maddow. Somehow has the same shrill obnoxious cracking voice as Tucker Carlson.
It was always about the profits and control of the region and it's resourcesKinda admits the training was a shit failure. They didn't realize the training was ineffective for twenty years??
And now comes to the teenager's "it was all about the profits" conclusion.
Genius stuff
We didn't get compensated, I didn't make a dime...did you?It gets profit out of any war.
We didn't start that shit. And why shouldn't we get recompensed for doing the heavy lifting?
Because that was not a genuine peace accord. That was terms of surrender. The whole peace accord was negotiated in a way That basically guaranteed the Taliban would rule
i literally had a friend tell me "we coulda won if the politicians had just let the military go to town."Because that was not a genuine peace accord. That was terms of surrender.
The US was stuck in purgatory, with the political leadership aware that the US had lost the war but the permanent state refusing to accept it. Under these circumstances, mess was inevitable and unavoidable.
I also think of lot of these silly ruminations about what Biden should have done come from a refusal to accept that we just lost the war. It's just 'Congress lost the Vietnam war' or 'the Jews and communists stabbed the German army in the back in World War 1' in a different form. It is an attempt to psychologically control what cannot be controlled by people who find the truth traumatic.
The Taliban ultimately had the biggest say in how Kabul fell, not Joe Biden.
"If we'd have just turned into Nazi Germany, we would have won a glorious victory for the Homeland."i literally had a friend tell me "we coulda won if the politicians had just let the military go to town."
LoL @ that Vietnam excuse.
Well that's what I mean. Profits and loss are natural to the process of warfare. It's like pointing out that the sun rises in the east and calling it a keen insight. It was always about the profits and control of the region and it's resources
Can't speak to the training
I would argue that profit and resources are not simply natural to the process...they are the reason for the process.Well that's what I mean. Profits and loss are natural to the process of warfare. It's like pointing out that the sun rises in the east and calling it a keen insight.
Canada has a shitload of natural resources and is right next door, you think they're in danger of a US invasion and occupation?I would argue that profit and resources are not simply natural to the process...they are the reason for the process.
I don't think it is a keen insight at all, I consider it War 101.
I doubt itCanada has a shitload of natural resources and is right next door, you think they're in danger of a US invasion and occupation?

Afghanistan isn’t in the middle eastI doubt it
Don't shit where you eat
Usually a good policy
Middle east has da minerals, da opium, da oil, and da stargates.
But the US could access a LOT of resources by annexing Canada. Why has that not been on the table? Last year Canada accounted for more than half of the US' oil imports, you're telling me there was not enough profit to be made in taking that over at any point in the last 75 years? I don't understand. Please explain.I doubt it

You got me.Wait..... so is "War 101" "resources and profit are the reason for the process", or is War 101 "Don't shit where you eat"?
And how come they weren't worried about shitting where they ate, when the US government annexed Texas because of its resources? I'm so confused! Help me out here?

Vietnam called. They said Korea wants their excuse back.Fucken load of shit. If the politicians had just let the troopers open up on a few this would've gone very different.
