It sucks and I've got a dozen nurses that are going be real fucked up by this at the end of it all.
That's why I'm still at home. I'm touching and hugging my family as much as possible. I've never been so appreciative of just seeing them strong and healthy.

If I go back to caring for covid patients, I think it would have to be on a travel contract so I'm not coming home to my family every day. I self quarantined and tested before returning home. That was a great comfort to me.

On the flip side of that I am not ready to leave my family again for no amount of money.

Stay strong, splints

The fact they have to seek medical treatment in their cars doesn’t hold weight?
That's normal here for testing and vaccinations. Keep your windows up the entire time because healthcare workers don't want to get infected.

But even having 20 cars of people who chose not to get vaccinated is just, well, stupefying.

Testing and vaccinations aren’t responding to and treating infected people who have an illness.

Apples and oranges.

But hey, Florida is going to Florida so it can’t continue to Florida.

Has there ever been a disease/virus that has gotten worse after a vaccine was introduced?

Yes. Most notably RSV, mmr, and dengue.
The first was never applied publicly because it was noted in the trial stop in vaccine never released.
MMR vaccine was handled by discontinuing and replacing with a live vaccine which stopped the problem in those vaccinated with the old vaccine.
Dengue vaccine was moved from people that had never been infected to only people who had been infected in the past. This then prevented the issue.

ADE is well studied and is always a concern. We also monitor it very closely. It's not something that nobody is looking at.

That video posted yesterday and the study from Israel are very good and non speculatory
I recommend them both so you can get on my level

Nights are down to 50 degrees here now also...it is lovely indeed

The U.S. will reportedly approve booster shots for all 3 COVID-19 vaccines at 6 months, not 8
I would wager it will drop to 4 months...they can't move the goalposts that far at once...I remember when booster shots probably weren't going to be needed
