no, it's marketed under the trade name Comirnaty
FDA says Pfizer-BioNTech became Comirnaty. I know it's colloquially been called "The Pfizer vaccine" but Pfizer didn't design jack shit. They just make it becaue BioNTech doesn't have manufacturing capability.

On August 23, 2021, the FDA approved the first COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine has been known as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, and will now be marketed as Comirnaty, for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older.

I understand that, but the FDA approval doesn't cover the vaccine that you can currently get. It has a different name and is covered under a separate EUA from the FDA. Even the Comirnaty vaccine is only approved in certain situations, according to their approval letter...which reads a lot like an EUA.

So what does the FDA approval cover?

You guys get that even if the FDA says "approved" it hasn't been subjected to the same scientific rigor as an actual FDA approval?
and even "FDA Approved" means that there's a 1:3 chance it'll be recalled within 5 years for posing a health risk?

or do you think they just made magic and it happened?

So when the FDA wrote that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine has been approved, they were lying?
If you get inoculated and the vaccine that you get doesn't have the FDA mark, you don't have legal standing to go after the manufacturer.

They said it was "mostly for optics" or something like that. That was a statement from an FDA official.
Wasn't really a science thing, more another way to push the campaign forward.

are you asking a question or fishing for an answer?

go read an FDA approval letter.

then go read the one for the "new" vaccine.
I'm asking a question.

You appear to be claiming there's a new vaccine, but nothing that's been put forward supports that claim so I'm wondering if you know something that the rest of us don't or if you're just misunderstanding something.

there's two letters for two different products.

nothing has been produced under the Cominarty name (AFAIK) and there's no incentive for Pzifer to make any.

now are you going to answer if you think the FDA has a magic space-time machine to accomplish 3-5 years of research, publication, and review in 3 months?

seriously. Tell me about how the gov't is full of shit on masks and lockdowns, but I should really trust the FDA and Pfizer on this one.
