I wonder what color the sky is in their world
I wonder what color the sky is in their world
the simple fact that half the population disagrees with the mandate
It’s almost like the goal posts are dancing.Once the question becomes "do you support vaccine mandates in your school or your job" the number for yes drops to 50%
How about that, ‘a significant’ percent of the population.@Filthy Fite me

Before face masks, Americans went to war against seat belts
"There was a libertarian streak among resistors," Ralph Nader told Business Insider.www.google.ca
- In the early 1980s, the public-safety battle was over seat belts. Most Americans didn't use them, and 65% opposed them being enforced by law.
Sounds like they didn’t know what was in their best interests.
We have to repeal seatbelt lawsHow about that, ‘a significant’ percent of the population.
It's a reasonable deduction that at the very least the 43% of Americans who are unvaccinated are opposed to vaccine mandates. I don't think it's a leap to think that there is at least 25% of those who are vaccinated think the vaccine mandates are a bridge too far. Anecdotally, that percentage is much higher. Of the 100 or so people I interact with regularly only about 5 of them are unvaccinated. I can only think of 3 or 4 people who think vaccine mandates are full stop in favor of them.fine - a not insignificant number. The fact that we're having this conversation.
i'm vaccinated, and I think mandates are bullshit.
what's your source? the FDA? the CDC?
Some EGGHEAD decided muricans had to wear seatbelts, even thought 65 percent of us (FREEDOM LOVERS) disagreed. I have a god given right to fly out my front windshield and splatter everywhere!
it's a "not insignificant number" and your own sources show that 50% don't support mandates. How does this:
Equate to this:
It’s almost like the goal posts are dancing.
Hep me repeal the seatbelt mandates!it's a "not insignificant number" and your own sources show that 50% don't support mandates.
literally in your source.
The goalposts ain't even swayed in the breeze, hero.
the consequence for not wearing a seatbelt is a civil fine.@Filthy Fite me

And if you don’t pay the fine what happens?the consequence for not wearing a seatbelt is a civil fine.
what's the consequence for not getting a vaccine?
seatbelts weren't even a moving violation in '86, it was a mandate for poor people.
what's illogical is saying that these people are perfectly capable of determining their own best interest in every aspect of their life except the one where you think they should live their live differently. If 8 out of 10 thunk it, it’s illogical to infer someone else knows better!

Poll: Nearly 8 in 10 Americans believe in angels
Belief in ethereal beings widespread, even among the less religiouswww.cbsnews.com
But no one is saying they are capable of that, that’s why we have mandates and laws on issues of public safety.what's illogical is saying that these people are perfectly capable of determining their own best interest in every aspect of their life except the one where you think they should live their live differently.
nice, a false equivalency to round out your collection of logical fallacies. How about that, ‘a significant’ percent of the population.
Look man, you posted a stupid thought, take your lumps and move on.nice, a false equivalency to round out your collection of logical fallacies.
I'm saying the federal gov't doesn't have the authority to mandate vaccinations. But no one is saying they are capable of that, that’s why we have mandates and laws on issues of public safety.
you’re being silly
