I check every single time
I have had people waving a gun around saying it was unloaded and I ask if I can check
3 times now I have checked and found one in chamber, then I give them a little talk
one of those times they had waved it near my head with poor trigger discipline

he's just waiting for the cops/paramedics to show up...not sure if changing clothes may have been advised - to preserve evidence.
