he's just waiting for the cops/paramedics to show up...not sure if changing clothes may have been advised - to preserve evidence.
they took a bunch of pics of him in it...i dunno, this is what i expect of the Big Club I'm Not In justice system
I'd be very surprised if his first phone call wasn't to his lawyer and he was following instructions from there.

So by that logic every actor that ever played a rape scene.. isn't really against rape?
I'm gonna have to disagree.
Before I bother, do you really think this is an accurate analogy, or are you just being qute?

It sure is an extreme analogy, but it is meant as a reminder that actors are doing a job and are playing roles that are not them.

Also, im not sure on this, but you might be one of the first people to complain about Hollywood wokeness if that actually were how actors operated.

I'm always qute tho.

Movies like Westerns do a thing that anti-gun advocates refer to as "glorifying gun violence". I can't think of any instance of "glorifying rape" being an issue. Ie, There are countless movies where the hero goes on a mass shooting spree and the audience loves them for it. On the other hand, I can't think of any movie in which the audience celebrates a rape.

I've had a very pleasant discourse with Jake off line as it were.

But he's winding you up

I check every single time
I have had people waving a gun around saying it was unloaded and I ask if I can check
3 times now I have checked and found one in chamber, then I give them a little talk
one of those times they had waved it near my head with poor trigger discipline
good on you for checking

you literally have to break all 4 rules to have an accidental discharge

if I was in charge of gun sale, I'd make it so that no one can buy a gun unless you can recite the safety rules verbatim

I'm sure it was a total accident and the families and Alec are crushed but it kind of points out the hypocrisy of stars making millions glorify guns and violence while speaking out against it from the other side of their mouths.

i really want to see the chain of custody with this revolver. I'm hanging all my interest in this on the notion that one of the disgruntled walk-offs put one round under the hammer in a revolver.
That thought entered my brain too.

Apparently, he was told the gun wasn't loaded.

IMO, it doesn't really matter. Basic firearm safety means he should've checked. The assistant director that gave it to him should have checked also. Even if the AD checked it standing directly in front of Baldwin right before he handed it to him, Baldwin still should've checked so he could see for himself. That is a basic rule of firearm safety.

The armorer shares some of the blame as well. She should have taken the time to go over some basics with the cast and crew. She also should have kept any guns that are capable of firing a real round locked up with a select few educated people having access.
