I used to move and plant thousands of small and large trees for a Co op years back, we even had our own nursery.
We bought most of our stuff from Nurseries like yours. Hard work and them shits can be very heavy even with the aid of machinery.

Your pictures bring me back to those days...some of the trees I planted back then are nearly 80 feet tall now.

Good times, glad you get a break until spring...that sounds nice.

I am going to do snow removal for the winter on our site and at our tree farm and I'm going to do propagation in the spring but it's gonna be nice to not have to put in 40 hour weeks for a bit.i got a torn rotator cuff right now and I have been the only guy there since the beginning of October so I could use a bit of a break

Geez
fully torn or partial. need surgery?

I don't know shit about that injury

We used to shut down for winter months and most guys would just chill and collect unemployment, I found other work usually because I didn't like the unemployment paycheck

I tore it years ago and never did anything about it ( other than physiotherapy) now it's been acting up for the last while and doesn't want to twist or raise up over my head. An americana or key lock would probably kill me lol.my whole shoulder joint sounds like a ratchet .click click click pop

That sounds like my left shoulder. I couldn't raise my arm over shoulder height for about 6 months. My range of motion has returned and the pain has subsided a bit, but I definitely have the snap*crackle*pop thing going on. Actually both shoulders do that, but I only have pain in my left.

Sucks.

Sucks for both of you, and also sucks that you have to live with it rather than just get it fixed.

I love coming up to my in-laws house. We have space.View attachment 53311
Space is so fucking important. I lucked into having 10x as much outside space as any of my friends. Nothing like that place in your photo, but still - in the city, having a full size empty lot for an extra backyard is amazing. So much better to walk outside and not have three random fuckers looking at you from three different kitchens in three different houses.

My wife and I are just about ready to purchase our first home, and space is the main thing we’re looking for.

This is one of my favorite views every year. The first night with the tree up and the house decorated for Christmas. It is a moment that gives me peace and I feel immense gratitude.

After pacing for 7 hours during the OSU and Auburn games to great disappointment, I'm finally sitting down to ENJOY some football.

Bedlam.
