I’m sure that’s being discussed. Biggest reason not to is that’s a lot of games to reschedule, and likely a lot of money lost.
What’s fucked is they are testing vaccinated players who are asymptomatic. Everyone in the league who’s catching it has at worst a “mild cold”, according to everything I’m reading. It seems unreasonable to continually test players who are all vaccinated and showing no symptoms to begin with. I know that you need a negative test to cross the border, but at what point is everyone going to accept that this is never going away?
At this point I’m just praying for everyone’s safety. These men are modern day gladiators on ice, and they put it all on the line every night for us, the fans. I promised I wouldn’t cry, but I’m choked up writing this. Oh God…I’ll finish this post when I’ve composed myself.
