I didn't expect to see
@sparkuri championing that we should be sending our vaccines overseas, but here we are.
Public health wise, its probably better to vaccinated 100 million unvaccinated than boost 200 million Americans.
That's the FDA, WHO, and apparently
@sparkuri position as well.
The thought is that said unvaccinated population will generate broader spread with greater variants and resource over runs in their countries. While the main shot series is still pretty good at preventing hospitalization and death without boosters. WHO thinks that we will boost up only for the unvaccinated world show up with yet another variant undermining those boosters.
But you know, rich country gonna rich country.
