And I know you are smart enough to know that Covid deaths and over-represented. Are they distinguishing between "Died with Covid" and "Died of Covid" yet? No, they aren't. The numbers are bullshit.
they always have, and excess mortality is a thing.

the manipulation of data that I've seen is with over/under reporting cases to meet political and financial objectives.

The narrative must be met. Just like the pharma quotas.

Facts and reasoning be damned.

Do you agree with the "5 days and wait it out" policy?

Maybe hositals were being overrun because people were staying at home until they needed ER assistance.

Should we be treating folks when they first develop symptoms instead of telling them to ride it out?

I don't know about the 5 days and wait it out policy you are referencing.

I'm treating people literally in their first day of symptoms all the time.

How haven't you caught Omicron yet? You using surgical masks mostly? Some kind of tape to close the air gaps?

Boosted and triaging patients. Car visits and swabs before a resp or fever patient enters the building.

KN95 daily and N95 with further PPE for confirmed cases.

30 patients a day means 60 hand washes.

I spend my social activities in open air places like patios. I switched my upcoming Puerto Rico trip to a road trip both because I don't want to get stuck not being able to give an airline but also because I expected to surge might happen and they have a history of curfews that would make a vacation no fun.

Just a combination of very basic precautions. Nothing extreme and I still go to the store and I still have friends over to watch fights.

With that said omicron will be coming for me And I'm not worried about it very much At this point. I am healthy and I'm triple vaccinated. It doesn't post a large threat to me. But I am trying to not be sick in the middle of this wave that's occurring.

BigPharma does not approve of your rational risk assessment and modulated behavior.

you need at least 2 more boostings.

If workers have symptoms - any symptom - and they aren't vaxed, we are sending them home to quarantine. Guidance from CDC was 10 days if positive, 14 days if exposed with no vax. No meds necessary.

That has now been reduced to 5 days if positive and they can return to work if their symptoms are improving and they don't have a fever. No meds necessary.

Most positives never get treatment. Just like a normal cold, they ride it out. I've had a couple workers have their situation deteriorate and need hospitalization. What I'm saying is they might not have needed hospitilization if they were treated at the first sign of symptoms.

Around here - very few are going to the hospital unless they are having severe issues with breathing. I've recently had 2 guys who were waiting out symptoms (both vaxed) and needed to go the hospital for hypertension. Crazy BP levels. Anecdotal. Possibly unrelated to Covid.

they're just stressed from working with you.

give them a couple doobie breaks a day, contact me if their symptoms don't improve.

This is a very narrow-minded view of the situation.
It is.
But it's not.

Especially for kids. Force kids who have like a .00000001% chance of getting dead from Covid to get a vax that can have negative side effects with life-long complications.

Dude, I'm the coolest boss ever.
If doobie breaks were legal I'd be all for it. I'd roll the joints for them and give a little extra "chill" for those who needed it.

The CDC guidance is on quarantine, not on treatment.
Treatment is the doctors call.

No, meds aren't necessary for someone that got better that far out already.

Most positives don't need treatment.

What exactly do you think should have been done to treat that wasn't done?
