but not everyone is going to get COVID.

Nearly everyone is going to get COVID.

where being a full blown alcoholic doesn't disqualify you from receiving a liver transplant

Smoking or drinking disqualifies you from being a transplant recipient.

Organ transplants are a holistic decision making process in which a cirrhotic from drinking alcohol is a not eligible for a transplant in some centers.

Some centers have tried to move away from this viewing addiction as a disease. And with it, you could receive a liver transplant after alcohol abuse caused a dead liver. However, even in those programs you are required to have ameliorated the risk factor through abstinence and evidence of no drinking.

And even then, It's only one decision making point that adds risk of "wasting" the organ and someone that was a good match and didn't have a likelihood of relapse would go first in line.

Maybe everyone will get COVID. 2 years in and I haven't had a single exposure despite being out on the community every day as an essential worker.

I don't live in America, but here you can definitely get a liver transplant if you've killed it with booze. One of the NHL team owners is a notorious lush and got one last year. Hasn't even slowed down his drinking either.

Canada has been better than the US and UK but covid is going to become one of the endemic coronaviruses that causes a cold. Literally more than half of people I know have had covid now and with Omicron, that number is rocketing up.

That isn't at all true nor is it supported by my post.
How much has the public been informed on masks, contact tracing, and non-pharmaceuitcal interventions? What would the delta between vaxxed and unvaxxed be if society had spent the last two years taking the best possible actions instead of following the WHO/CDC/BigPharma prescribed actions?

Ah yes the Steve Jobs famous guy clause. We have that too.
We (allegedly) don't have 2 tier healthcare. I'm also aware of regular drunks who've gotten them but that's going to be much more difficult for me to give evidence of should it be requested.

If what you're saying is true, that would negate the need for a vaccine mandate for organ transplants. As I said earlier, they don't bounce people for not having a flu shot.

Talk that through for me please. How does it negate the need for a vaccine requirement?

If, in your own words, it's just going to cause a cold, that's hardly reason to withhold a heart transplant.
It's only going to become an endemic cold due to our exposures. It's not the virus itself weakening, it's our response to it.

Like when Europeans brought diseases to North America. What were endemic sniffles to us were deadly to people with no exposure.

So it won't be a cold to this guy unless he's had covid already.

that's not historically accurate, most Native Americans had been wiped out by disease before the Europeans arrived. This has been common knowledge for 20 years.

I'm also not aware that Omicron's lack of severity has anything to do with prior infection. Saying that someone's first exposure is going to have a more negative or consequential outcome is not supported by any data I've seen, unless we're comparing different variants of the virus.

Have they tested him for anti-bodies? Any reason you keep avoiding having to address the logical problem of not requiring flu shots? Flu is extremely serious for people with shit immune systems.

Native Americans were definitely more vulnerable to diseases from Europe than the Europeans were.

I didn't say Omicron's lack of severity was due to previous infection. Omicron isn't a cold. It doesn't appear to be as severe as Delta but it is still hospitalising people.

I don't know anything about the prevalence of influenza, the fatality rate or medical requirements surrounding influenza vaccines. I do know that we aren't in an influenza pandemic that has killed almost a million Americans.

It's already been established the numbers are incorrect

Ignoring that you guys are sticking with guidelines despite continued changes in societal risk, surely they could run a same day PCR on the prime minister to avoid this. Seems like grandstanding and then makes me wonder if it even happened
of course it didnt happen. the truck convoy is rolling thru ontario and trudy is getting out of town. the guidelines only say to isolate if you are unvaxxed and this dipshit got jabbed 3x on tv

not in a statistically-meaningful way.

No, sir. In Ontario any exposure or symptoms and you're required to isolate for 5 days.
