Hopefully she is! I am excited for you guys. Life is so bland without any pets.I’m anxiously awaiting to hear if the lone female is still available. It’s all going through a friend, so he’s playing middle man for me. ?
My dog keeps me sane.

Are you afraid a male will out alpha you?I’m anxiously awaiting to hear if the lone female is still available. It’s all going through a friend, so he’s playing middle man for me. ?
I just prefer females. I’ve only ever had female dogs, so that’s what I know. Maybe it’s silly, but that’s what I’ve had my mind set on.Are you afraid a male will out alpha you?
My only boy pup was the sweetest, and oh so cute. He was also the only non-Dane I owned as an adult. He just looked so freaking sad at the shelter, I couldn't say no.I just prefer females. I’ve always loved labs, it’s just where my heart is with dogs. My wife has a friend that has a lab/Dane mix, and it is one of the coolest dogs. Big, but wonderful temperament. When we first started thinking about getting a pup again that’s what she wanted, but I haven’t ever seen that mix available around here.My only boy pup was the sweetest, and oh so cute. He is why I can't go to the shelter alone.
I don't see too many Dane/Lab mixes through my Dane groups much, either. This is the first time I've had a Dane who I suspect is mixed - it's not confirmed but I fully believe she has some kind of pointer in there somewhere, she does very typical pointer stances, can somehow spot small animals from further distances, and have the cutest little (lol) webbed feet. She is very goofy, like a Dane, but her intelligence isn't quite as... low. Right now, she's asleep on my pillow.I’ve always loved labs, it’s just where my heart is with dogs. I know it's six hours away, but I really recommend going to meet the dog. I have had a connection and love for all my dogs and cats, but there is something really different about the bond I have with this one. It's really odd... the moment we locked eyes, I knew we were supposed to be paired. It sounds really stupid, but I swear it's not. I don't have an easy explanation for it. I went to see another dog and he bit me, I didn't even notice her at first, but when I walked out of the other dog's area, I turned and there she was. The lady had me meet two other dogs but I was already set on her. We are two peas in a pod and even though she's freaking annoying as hell sometimes because she's so damn attached, I wouldn't trade it for the world. She’s a good looking dog!
I wasn’t all that familiar with the Black Mouth Cur breed, but I’ve been reading a bit this afternoon and it sounds like it could be a good mix with a lab.
I think I could probably get one of the males out of the litter since there were 7, but hoping for the female. I haven’t decided if that’s a deal killer or not, but I do have my heart set on the female if available still. That’s just what feels right for me. And honestly, this is all 6 hours away, so I don’t know what all is happening there with the pups. For all I know they could all be spoken for already. Which is why I haven’t mentioned anything to my son yet lol
I hear ya and agree. If they were closer, I would’ve went today to see them. And what you described is what happened with my last dog. We locked eyes and connected right away. A situation as you described would be ideal. It’s possible that I could go up there set on one, but connect with a different one.I know it's six hours away, but I really recommend going to meet the dog. Okay, I am done being a weird, sappy bitch.

Albino. We have another one too, a spotted one, but it only comes out at night, I rarely see her/him.Motherfucker is albino or shed it's skin? I like him. Reminds me of Galt.
