How did this thread confusingly become about abortion?
I seriously had to take a look at the thread title.

Which of you have been drinking?

The Gish Gallop is the fallacious debate tactic of drowning your opponent in a flood of individually-weak arguments in order to prevent rebuttal of the whole argument collection without great effort. The Gish Gallop is a conveyor belt-fed version of the on the spot fallacy, as it's unreasonable for anyone to have a well-composed answer immediately available to every argument present in the Gallop.
I'm familiar with the fallacy, just didn't catch where the subject shifted.

No. Their sign says choose adoption. Its very clear.

Yet they have not adopted. Right wing fuckos telling others how to live their lives whilst not practising what they preach. Which says choose adoption.
left wing wackos do the same thing, it weakens your point to make it a "good guy" argument.

and you're right, these women did not choose adoption. They choose to push out their own kids. I don't think that means they don't practice what they preach, but it seems like they'd get a lot more done if they were out promoting adoption and caring for adopted kids, or picketing bureaucrats who make adoption so incredibly difficult. If they really care about a "right to life", shouldn't they have some foster kids or be out supporting those programs?

They're just lazy. They stand in front of a building for a couple hours one a month and get to tell themselves they've earned their life of comfort and privilege. It's gross, but not at all uncommon.

What about "Security is onto us, we have to abort our fiendish terrorist mission of death!" ?
Didja ever think of that

I have something logged in my diary dated 15th June 2002 that alludes to this. Not exactly but it's close enough.
