Hauler @Hauler - what do you think the bottom is if this pullback continues?
It probably depends on what happens. If Putin stays out, we probably recover quickly with some decent buying opportunities on Monday/Tuesday.

I'm staying put for now. Not buying. Not selling. Definitely an ugly day.

See I think we’re in the early stages of a coming recession with no end in sight for inflation. Biden is cooking the books on job numbers and real inflation. I don’t think the market is even reflecting any of that yet.

I don't necessarily disagree. The numbers are bogus and inflation is out of control. I thought you were talking about today's pullback which is 100% Putin and Ukraine.

It's just a matter of time before the rug gets pulled out from this entire thing.

Holy shit at Netflix!
Down 32% so far today.

Stop losses likely triggering.

Look for a huge bounce at some point. Could be a dead cat, could be a good entry point for a long hold.

52 wk high of $700
Opened at $350
Trading at $230

I've liquidized (is that a word?) some good positions since the start of this thread, like Dior or Amazon. keeping future-oriented stuff like Cybersecurity ETFs no matter what but currently rather cautious on the whole situation let's say..

really interested in what happens next with bitcoin though

WBD (Warner Bros Discovery), recently spun off from AT&T, has announced they are shutting down CNN+

CNN+ launched a few weeks ago after a $300 million investment.

LMAO. This management team might have their shit together.

Ok...first things first. CNN...

Boston Beer (SAM) has had an interesting Covid run.

1650628051219.png

It had a nice run from trading just below $400 to a high of $1349. This movement was on the back of the hard seltzer craze, which SAM is in the midst of with their TRULY seltzers.

But they grossly exaggerated estimates of continued growth, and they believed their own hype and over-produced their seltzers. They have a shelf life, so millions of TRULYs were destroyed because they didn't sell. That lead to a quarter in the red and the market is crushing them for it.

I wouldn't jump in yet, but it's definitely one to watch to see where it settles at.
