It's an interesting cultural consideration. The Russian government has spent years pushing the idea that Ukrainians are actually just Russians and really need to be part of Russia. The shared history at a very minimum makes them cousins and most Ukrainians and Russians recognize their long history together. I just wonder what the average Russian thinks. Sure. Maybe they want Ukraine to be part of Russia for all the reasons that are pushed all the time. Russian pride, history, whatever. There becomes the question. If they are our brothers, should we invade and bomb them?
