So then it will be worth more than it is now… opposite of what you saidYes.

what i recently learned (which was a huge misunderstanding on my part), is that storing wind and solar energy is not yet practical. so until that technology exists (fingers crossed), we will still need to use fossil fuels at times to keep the energy grid goingYup. Get it while we both need it and value is higher because demand is there.
Once we transition to be less dependent on fossil fuels, the shit is just going to stay in the ground.
Wouldn’t that require continuing to pour money into infrastructure and maintenance on something being phased out.hes saying drill more now to increase supply and lower the cost as we transition to a hybrid renewals / fossil fuel system
Not as we transition to alternative power. It's a commodity that has a shrinking window of need.So then it will be worth more than it is now… opposite of what you said
im am not versed in the projected demand curves to speak to this kind of stuffWouldn’t that require continuing to pour money into infrastructure and maintenance on something being phased out.
Let’s not forget the massive amounts of money spent on subsidies and bail outs (at least here in Canada).
Being phased out does not = already phased out.Wouldn’t that require continuing to pour money into infrastructure
Well to be fair - the law is brain dead, isn't it?"if you vote against critical race theory you must be a racist Nazi"
good speech.
that's not what the law mandates. The whole speech was an attack on a strawman.Well the law is brain dead, isn't it?
Do you support the Holocaust being taught to kids in a way that is non-judgemental of the morality of the Third Reich, as this proposed law would mandate? Of course you don't. Why is your issue with the guy pointing out how stupid the law is, and not with the stupid law?
??
Fair enough. But this guy never appears if not for the law, does he. The law is the stupid part of the equation, not this guy.that's not what the law mandates. The whole speech was an attack on a strawman.
but to your point, Yes, I would prefer to teach kids facts and give them the critical thinking skills to come to the conclusion that killing millions of people is reprehensible.
if kids have to be told explicitly that such actions are bad, we have much bigger problems in our education system.
EDIT - forgot to say that the proposed law is retarded.
stupid on stupid is still stupid.Fair enough. But this guy never appears if not for the law, does he. The law is the stupid part of the equation, not this guy.
And yes, by all appearances your education system is a sad joke.
??
The holocaust should certainly be taught, but the 3rd Reich's morality has nothing to do with it. History is about facts. Not judgements.Well to be fair - the law is brain dead, isn't it?

Sure, that's true. But it's never as clear as that in practice, is it. Whose facts? The holocaust should certainly be taught, but the 3rd Reich's morality has nothing to do with it. History is about facts. Not judgements.
