The U.S. Treasury Department clarified Friday afternoon that Wall Street's traders and banks can continue to buy and sell Russian oil and gas.
If true, that's completely fucked.

As I said earlier in the thread. I love the idea of the ATM eating Putin's card when he goes to take out $20 for the valet, but these things disproportionately impact civilians. Anyone who's honest about it knows that the idea behind them is to create enough unrest that the citizens will topple the government.

Given that direct military involvement could well result in nuclear war, it is either that or do nothing at all, which would surely only embolden Putin to invade other countries.
Putin has his hands full with Diet Russia. Somehow I doubt he's going to storming the shores of the British isles anytime soon.
