There is strong reason to believe it was the Ukrainian side that attacked the Russians.

There is footage of the local Donetsk militia commander going to co-ordinate the evacuations. He is now dead. The Russians are now pissed.

It has been reported in several international media outlets that the Ukrainians are simply not letting civilians leave cities in many cases.

The sad fact is, it is in Ukraine's interests to keep human shields, it's in Russia's interest to let the civilians out so they can just level the cities without international backlash.

But no amount of basic logic will ever convince these spastics that the 'goodies' are capable of doing bad things too.

That all makes sense to me. It took about 3 hours for me to be very cautious about accepting any of the info coming out of Ukraine.

"Other countries" refers to the other former Soviet states, though I'm sure you are aware of that.

And then what? Wouldn’t that put the huge burden of clean up right on the Russians assuming they keep possession of the territory? And so far they haven’t shown much regard for civilians in the shelling the last few days or much care that the world seemed to hate them.

I'm not sure how accurate that statement is. When the Ukrainians declared guerrilla warfare they knew very well the consequence of that action.
