Inflation isn’t real
That's what I've been saying all along when they started handing out bennies. Inflation is a social construct and sound economic reasoning is a waste of time.

But you need to add "at current sell prices" to both sentences.

I would love to pay all these guys $100/hr, but I'd either go out of business or - if everyone did the same thing - a loaf of bread would cost $15

Wages went up for sure, but it all ran down hill. Nothing in this fucked up, out-of-balance economy has been "fixed" with higher wages.
