Imagine being so petty that you have more money than any human being in the world, legacy projects that you should be working on, and instead you spend your time trolling the social media owners in an elaborate fuck you just to build your personal brand while doing so.
Exactly.

The world is run by these ridiculously wealthy crony-capitalist oligarchs

There's an elite class that buys $35k tickets to MET galas and dress up like fucken weirdos

It's the hunger games. Except, for whatever reason, millions of people worship all these assholes. It's weird

Yesterday I heard about the Tesla working conditions in China. Fuck Elon. He is a scumbag

This could be an elaborate ruse to lower the stock price so he can acquire more for cheaper than the amount he agreed to pay.

He'll pay over market price. To himself.

Did you see that Goldman Sachs came out saying that the stock price was too low in that Twitter should increase the price? And then it came out that they have a $30 contract to purchase

Haha. Didn't see that.
Goldman Sachs is advising Twitter on the Musk deal. An offer to purchase sounds like a conflict of interest.

Elon musk broke the law to buy a bunch of twitter share secretly. He then makes a purchase that is so full of risk nobody believed it. And in fact the financing has fallen through because of the risk. He tweets a price that makes no sense and the stock pumps. He makes a ton of money even walking away. And he will only have to pay a fine for the disclosure and not the illegal stock manipulation when the "deal" falls through.
Instead of seeing if you can sneak an extra inch down your throat, You should be unhappy at a pump and dump occurring. For every dollar musk makes on walking away is some poor schmuck that believed in him and will lose money.

Personally, I think the banks should be broken up.

But they get away with most of their conflicts of interest by claiming that there are barriers between their buy side and sell side operations

It's bullshit though. In NYC, buy side and sell side people are all friends. All going out to the same bars at night and talking about shit drunk

Yeah the whole thing of them advising the deal while capitalizing on certain in tragets and stating price targets to investors is ridiculous.

Technically he will owe a billion. But he can take it to court and spend like 20mm to save 1bn

Rich people shit
I read somewhere that the $1 billion thing isn't his only issue, but that he could be sued as well if Twitter really wanted to go after him.

Musk never wanted to acquire Twitter. He wanted to expose it, and has.
