Personally, I can't envision a scenario where I would be hyped or even give a shit about any celebrity having or not having a Twitter account.

But hey, you do you. You want to wildly cheer for this dangerous asshole and personality cult leader to further poison American democracy and civil political discourse with his nonstop barrage of idiotic lies, go right ahead. ?

I don't really use twitter outside of posting MLB vids to this site.

I just like picturing how outraged Libs will be if Trump starts up his 3am tweets from the shitter again.

And in this case the Libs are absolutely, 100% dead right, and you are dead wrong.

Why would you cheer for an ignorant, spoiled asshole to further tear the country apart and erode American democracy still further with his nonstop stupid lies, in service of his pathetic ego and absolutely nothing else?

That's happening just at the thought of him being allowed back.

Because censorship is wrong.

Because censorship is wrong.
Generally, fine. But that's a blanket statement, and not applicable in every situation. Sometimes censorship is in fact appropriate.

Also, Twitter is a private company. Trump agreed to abide by the terms of service. Not only did he absolutely fail to do that, he spent a long time essentially daring them to ban him. Eventually they did, as is their right.

As did Facebook. And YouTube. And, to some degree, the entire main stream media when it came to types of stories they would cover and not cover.

That behavior sets a horrible precedent and isn't something that should be cheered or encouraged. It's dangerous.

But a return to Twitter will be a cuck tuck to his Truth Social which will immediately die.
I actually don't know that he'll return for that reason. Maybe to post links to his Truth Social posts. Once they fix it and it actually works.

I liked Musk's comment ripping on the name and said they should have used Trumpet instead.

I would generally agree with you, except in this particular case. In this case, the greater evil by far is the poisoning of the public discourse by this vile asshole. Trump and his cult of sycophants present a real and serious threat to American democracy itself, and his Twitter account was perhaps his major weapon in his poisoning of the political discourse. It's far, far beyond a joke. He's not trolling, it's not funny. He is dead serious, and it is genuinely dangerous to your democracy in a way that we haven't seen in most of our lifetimes. (The Confederacy obviously excepted, in your case.?)

I'd almost say silencing him strengthened the resolve of his supporters. I'm not saying he wasn't a loose cannon. He was. But it's better to correct his statements with reasonable facts than it is to muzzle him.

If someone tells me I can't listen to something, the first thing I want to do is listen to it.

Cancelling him was an error in judgement.

And encouraging censorship is insane. You might be OK with this instance because of your hatred for Trump - but it won't stop. That kind of power is rarely returned to the people.

You don't think stories being buried are also a threat to democracy itself?
Of course not. For example: Morons entering the capital with a plan that couldn't have possibly succeeded is a threat to democracy. Sending people to protest SCOTUS judges making a decision that's supposed to occur outside of public influence is just exercising free speech.

Elon wealth is wrapped up in Tesla stock.
Hes using that as collateral to buy Twitter (fingers says there's Saudi money but I don't see that yet)
If Tesla stock goes down he'll have to sell some off pay the debt further dropping the Tesla stock value.
Such negativity coming from you

Facts don't care about your feelings ❄.

And Tesla shareholders apparently haven't forgotten what SolarCity did to them.
Suck my dick throbert
