How horrible.

This makes sense now.

The idea that an armed policeman would have been at my school would have scared me and scarred me.

I just can't imagine it as a 5 year old.

By the police officer? Nope
It was after a school shooting 10miles away which injured 25 and killed 2(plus 2 parents)...trust me the kids, parents, and teachers felt safer.



FYI we have all been conditioned, I think you know this.

more primary school children die from bullets than cops do In your country.

it’s literally more dangerous in your country to be a 7 year old child than be a police officer.

defend that.

Can you show me a source for the "stats" you just posted?

I think it is quite far from the truth.

I'm not defending anything FYI...I just was commenting that my school used one door and had cops on campus for awhile in high school

approx 1500 or so.

Expensive? yes it would be.

This country pisses money and weapons all over the globe so just divert that $$$ to our problems.

I know we are supposed to be defunding and disarming the cops, and citizens, but I don't think disarming the USA is a realistic solution.

Not ranting at you Will, just pointing out that security is a new concept at schools.
