Yeah and some other people say Oberyn Martell may have poisoned Tywin but none of the "Tywin was dying" theories make any sense.

Fuck u
I dont think Oberyn did. Some people believe that since he uses poison on his spear. But he has never once poisoned someone like a ninja

That's not his style. Oberyn wanted Gregor to out tywin. Then he wanted to cut tywins head off in single combat

You say there's no evidence, but I doubt you know about the tyrell money found underneath a certain jailers chamber pot

That jailer was one of varys's secret identities (the one he used to speak to ned stark for example). Varys had to leave real quick due to what tyrion did, so he left evidence like that behind

There's also the stench during tywins vigil. Yes he was killed while pooping, which was a nice nod to "in the end, tywin lannister did not shit gold"

but he was cleaned up by maesters before his vigil. Yet his stench was extra ordinary as if he had been dying of poison.

Olenna specifically mocked his stench at the vigil

Olenna had effectively killed him before tyrion did. Stop being sexist

GRRM will die before he finishes the final two books because he's a typical Jersey cunt.

In case anyone was upset about the show "dropping the Azor Ahai prophecy" here's my three takes on that

Azor ahai supposedly shoved his sword into his love, Nissan Nissa, and her soul passed into the sword. Azor ahai used that flaming sword called Lightbringer to defeat the Others

Azor Ahai was prophesied to be reborn and wake dragons from stone. So what happened? Who is azor ahai? How come there was no flaming sword called lightbringer?

Option 1:

Rhaegar was azor ahai. The song of ice and fire was a love song. Lyanna being ice and rhaegar being fire.

Dicks in the books are referred to many times as weapons. Longspear is the name of a freefolk. But he didn't carry a spear, he was named that for carrying a different long spear

Ned starks older brother Brandon loved sleeping around. He loved nothing more than using his bloody sword (which was Lady Dustin's way of say that he took her maiden head)

So rhaegar stuck his "sword" into lyanna. She died in childbirth. He soul passed on into a "firey sword"

Fire is a synonym for life. And sword is synonym not just for dick but also human

Case in point, arya told syrio she is not a boy, she is a girl. And he said "you... are a sword"

So the "firey sword" or "living human" is jon snow. He is lightbringer

It's pretty on the nose with his nights watch vow

"I am the sword in the darkness"

Option 2:

Azor ahai = dany
Nissa Nissa = khal drogo (whom she killed)
Lightbringer = khal drogos life paid to hatch Drogon. And Dragon is a figurative "firey sword"

She literally woke dragons from stone by hatching fossilized eggs

Option 3:

Azor ahai = stannis

melisandre believes he is azor ahai reborn and she kept trying to get him to sacrifice his nephew to wake dragons from stone. (gendry in the show. Edric Storm in the books) He said no a bunch of times until he finally agreed. Thankfully, davos escorted his nephew away before he could sacrifice him

Nissa nissa = shireen

Stannis army gets very depleted and he eventually sacrifices the one person he loved. Shireen

Lightbringer = jon snow

Low and behold, jon snow is resurrected. Magic isn't free. Only death can pay for life. So stannis unknowingly woke a dragon (targaryen) from stone by sacrificing shireen

Those three options are not mutually exclusive. I believe them all to be true in the books and the show alike
How do any of those tie in with the first parts of the Azor Ahai myth regarding Lightbringer? That he tried to forge it three times, the first time quenching in water (it broke), and the second time plunging it into a lion (it broke again), before finally quenching it by plunging it into his brand new Nissan Nissa with the alloy wheels and optional leather interior?

What you mentioned is the myth. Needing three attempts is not mentioned in the prophecy for azor ahai reborn

I will answer tho in terms of Rhaegar, which is who I lean most heavily towards in terms of azor ahai reborn

Tywin wanted his buddy Aerys to pair up Rhaegar with his daughter Cersei. Aerys condescendingly rejected him. Lion.

Since Aerys had not been able to have a girl to marry Rhaegar (Dany was born during Robert's rebellion), Aerys sent his cousin Steffon Baratheon over to Essos to find a suitable match of Valyrian blood. Steffon came back empty handed, and his ship crashed in Shipbreaker Bay. Robert and Stannis watched their parents drown to death. Water.

Rhaegar was married to Elia Martell of Dorne, but left her for Lyanna Stark as a result of love. Heart.

The reason I prefer Rhaegar above the rest is because Rhaegar spent his entire life chasing the prophecy. He picked up a sword and asked to be trained because he thought he was Azor Ahai and would need to be a warrior. Then he read something else in his scrolls and came to believe it was his first-born son Aegon.

So he was obsessed with the coming Doom. Dedicated his life to it. And in poetic fashion, the prophecy came to fruition unexpectedly when he stopped chasing it and just followed his heart

The secret song mentioned in the annuls of ashai that brought back the day was a love song imo that resulted in the birth of someone who unified the resistance just as jon is doing

So rhaegar and lyannas song of ice and fire is yet another love story, that birthed lightbringer. A man who will lead my example and bring opposing factions together to fight for the living

My main point tho is just that I don't think the show skipped it. Who is azor ahai is open to interpretation

I've got some hardcore book fans that believe jon will fall in love with dany, stab her, the sword will go ablaze and he will defeat the night king

I hear that and I'm like

That type of fairy tale dues ex machina is not gonna happen. GRRM is way too subtle for a prophecy is pay off in literal terms

Almost all prophecies and visions are metaphors so as to protect the timeline

Wait, you know some people that think GRRM is actually going to finish the series?

Do they consume copious amounts of drugs? Are they in an insane asylum? Are these "friends" the voices in your head?

;)

The series will be finished one way or another. I suspect that the reason winds of winter is taking so long may be misleading

there are alot of outstanding subplots. So I suspect that he is simultaneously mapping out the final book while finishing winds of winter.

More importantly, I will reread the first 5 countless more times in my life even if another book is never released. Bc the code I live by is "journey before destination." And I love spending time with the characters in the world of ice and fire

Also worth noting that the author of my favorite completed series died. But Brandon sanderson finished it. And thsts the main reason why it's my favorite completed series (wheel of time)

So if grrm passes, I'd like to belive brandon finishes it in his own style :))

I seem to remember seeing a quote from GRRM saying he wouldn't want someone else to finish it if he were to die, back some years ago when I was all over the websites and videos with the theories about ASOIAF.

Not sure if he's changed his tune since then?

Yeh, unfortunately, I think you might be right about that

Unfortunately the longer the series has gone on, the longer he has taken to write them, and he also seems to be on a personal quest to eat every fucking calorie in the continental US.

That's not a good combo for finishing the series.

I have nothing but love and appreciation for GRRM. He never owed me anything. And still owes me nothing

I wish him happiness no matter how he chooses to spend today, tomorrow, and every other day left with this magical gift we call life

So many people ask him about his books and death during fan QnAs. And he has vocalized that thats not cool. And it hurts him.

It's different that you are writing here as opposed to asking him face-to-face. But the convo still makes me uncomfortable.

To be fair, he brought at least some of that on himself by repeatedly hinting at TWoW being written.

...and by eating platefuls of lard sandwiches.

New season of Peaky Blinders is out on Netflix!
One of the trainers for my new job told our group that’s all he’s doing this weekend. The other trainer asked him if there’s a lot of dialog because she doesn’t like shows with a lot of talking lol

Lol it was a wearwolf/vampire Romeo and juliet story. If it didn't have "teen drama" in its description, I wouldve marathoned it today

The left one is "intimacy." I don't know what that is. Thriller probably. I had suspected it would be a big show and thought about watching and covering it

Not sure what the one on right is... but it is TV-MA rating... I might check that one out lol
