Just give some guns to his completely untrained maid and gardener. They can shoot any assassins dead before they even get to him.
There we go, problem solved. Now we never ever have to even begin having a conversation about the constant, frenzied partisan rhetoric or the negative and occasionally deadly effects that it has on society, or how to attempt to tone it down a bit.
