I had always thought Splinty @Splinty too smart to be a righty
I'm not right leaning for any particular ideology reasons. Just that it's less about right and left which are terms that have lost their meaning. More it's kind of individualism versus collectivism, my preference for capitalism with the realization that monopolies and antitrust need the intervention of government's thumb on the scale to maintain a fair and open marketplace, and The acknowledgment that some things in life aren't meant to be competitive services. Healthcare as a customer service industry is disgusting. It burns out everybody providing the service who loses meaning in ending suffering in exchange profit and the equivalent of Facebook likes. When you're dying, you can't boycott me. Once you're sick you can't shop around for a better deal. These kind of realities mean that I've never been too far right in some areas. At least not since I was an idiot 18-year-old.

In the case of guns, I don't have any ideological reason that We need to severely curtail private gun ownership. I own a lot of guns. They are fun. I love teaching people about them. I love going to the range with new people or even experienced and sharing the experience. I like the technical aspects and learning about it. Customizing the firearms. It's just another hobby. I'm simultaneously grossed out about me. Ridiculous fetishism. And I clearly see the writing on the wall that the unfettered access in the hands of the untrained and a system that is unenforceable legally is going to result in the banning of my guns instead of the regulating of them. I'd rather be a gun owner that controls access and regulation.

Regulating leads to banning, I really don't understand why you're so reluctant to acknowledge this.

Because his opinions are thought through, and he acknowledges that the world is actually a great deal more complex than your inane, one-note "everybody is stupid and everything sucks" binary slogans for every single fucking thing. ?

Should I just change the title of the thread to "Everyone that doesn't think like me is stupid"? That seems to be what everyone is posting. Maybe it is the title that is misaligned with the posts rather than vice versa.

Cars are regulated.
Industrial fertiliser is regulated.
Porn is regulated.
Movies are regulated.
Solvents are regulated.

Expand the list out as long as you like.

"Regulation leads to banning" is a t-shirt slogan, not a serious opinion.

That's not a surprise. The whole racist conspiracy isn't just about black people. It's about "globalist Jews" intentionally importing anybody that's not white to destroy the white race. This guy explicitly went to the zip code near him with the most black people, but that's probably more like a byproduct that there just aren't massive Latino communities or other immigrant groups near him like there is in Texas. For instance. El Paso is like 85% Latino. I doubt that exists near him.

The gays thing is weird. Would have to melt some more of my brain reading the thing to see if it just appears as part of memes calling everyone "fags" etc.
I live near here. You’re correct about demographics. Some small pockets of Latino or Jewish. But no way you know where those are unless guy live in the city directly.

No no no, the Great Replacement doesn't have anything to do with these massacres (even though every single one of these fucks is proud to tell the world all about it)

Why isn't anybody talking about violent video games and rap music radicalising these cunts and inspiring them to shoot up rooms full of random black people/brown people/Jews????

did you see when ppl got mad at me for explaining the antisemitic roots of the theory for the past 130 years in another thread?
