I’m pretty sure I’ve started my title defense 0-4 or 0-5. Figured I’d give you guys a head start then Darren Elkins your asses on the Bellator cards.

I picked two right! And I almost picked that last one by KO but changed my mind. Dang.

I was in the yard today watering some potted plants with a watering can and all the sudden this hummingbird comes out of fucking nowhere and hovers about 18" from the stream of water coming out of the can. It kind of startled me since they make those super fast sudden moves all while making that unsettling wing sound. I didn't know if it was just curious, or thirsty. Anyways all the sudden it shifts position, goes under my extended arm with the watering can, and hovers like 2" from my stomach, still watching the watering can. It stayed there for maybe 3 seconds, then zipped to the other side of the plant and just watched me from 2 feet away. It was super cool, but totally bizarre.

They drink droplets out of midair in my yard...the droplets must be moving in slow motion to them

I think they could poke our eyes out and there is nothing we could do about it

Too damn fast

Very different experience than seeing them at a 5 or 10 foot distance. I set up a hummingbird feeder a few months back and a decent amount of birds now visit it, but it's not like I try to get super close to the feeder to tame them or get them used to me or anything. Cool and odd interaction for sure.
