I have no idea what he wants. As an outside observer, remembering that this place has always been moderated under a "It takes 2 to tango." rule, it seem logical.

Well in this case I responded to KaladinStormBeast so I was only Tango-ing with him at that time. When I returned I realized I triggered a small shitstorm of reactions(which I am fine with, but did not intend).

I know better than to post much in direct response to scallop, he is fiery towards me lately and I am trying to tread lightly as to not agitate.

I do regret the exact wording of my post, and I am still mulling over how to convey my thought/idea properly.

Oh not unhappy at all, only "discouraged".
Everything I predicted came true and even came out. The right people do care too. However I do fear many people left do not understand the word despotism that I used a couple of times.

But Rambos post legit made me spit out my water.

I used to use a work truck, with an extra tank in the bed, fucken stupid fuel card used to play up, I remember calling my boss like wtf this card doesn't work, he was in a meeting and I was effing and jeffing at people in line behind me,



Boooooof that stupid fuel card was a pain in the ass numerous times. It was through that stupid thing I found out I was the same level as my dipshit supervisor. We were both level 3 , when I asked if that meant I could tell him to fuck off, he explained that's why we were having our chat to start with.
I was the same as him, I had just assumed he ranked higher, it was great when I learned I could tell him to fuck off in a professional manner.

To clarify ^^ my boss was level 4 , that's manager, my supervisor was level 3 like me. he just acted like a level 4 and he was in charge, he wasn't, my boss was just hinting that I don't need to put up with his bullshit in the way I had been doing.


Same happened in another job. I got a GS-14 rank. I didn't realize it but I had the same rank as the base commander for whatever bullshit I got up to, I needed to be able to tell all the military to fuck off if I needed to. Fun times

It was strange as fuck. Fwiw I wasn't a boss or leader I just needed to be able to tell people to fuck off if I needed to.
