If Trump loves America more than himself he needs to STFU and go back to Mar-a-Lago. He's burned his political bridge to the ground. It's over.
DeSantis wins 2024 in a landslide. If he pairs up with Tulsi, it will be a lopsided victory not seen since Reagan.
The ONLY positive from these midterms is that they MIGHT actually run Biden again.
And probably the only human on earth he can beat is Trump. So Trump needs to go away. That's reality. He's actually pissing me off at this point.
It's not about who would do the best job once in there.
You have to move forward with the candidate that can actually win. That's DeSantis.

Oregon passing a measure(114) that makes you get a permit to get a permit to purchase a firearm
First permit($65) comes from Law Enforcement, the same Law Enforcers all the people that voted for the measure want defunded and are literally Hitler and racist against all minorities and LBGTPQY people. Second permit is the federal background check(which already was a law). Somesort of class is involved as well, but that isn't described in detail. There is no plan explained or detailed for any of this , it is just a ban guns with no logic type of feeling bill.
Plus all magazines over 10 rounds are illegal when not on private property or a gun range, so I can't go in the woods with my gallery gun .22 to plink anymore. Those Mags will no longer be available for purchase for anyone.
Magazines can be grandfathered in but the grandfathers will have to prove it in court after the fact that they indeed purchased/aquired them previous to the ban.
Millions spent in funding to fuel the bill thru advertising. Further burden on Law Enforcement to approve the permits. Will go to the courts and likely be shot down, Taxpayer dollars will pay for it.
Gun Stores are going to be fucked
Lawsuits will be flying in from everywhere from many directions
Of course this will keep guns from criminals who already don't give a F about laws...sarcasm

If you actually read the measure you can find dozens of issues with it that will end up a shitshow and legal mess
7 of 36 counties in Oregon voted for it, the 29 that didn't won't prosecute and some of the 7 that did still won't prosecute unless they want to stack charges on a case. Most of Oregon thinks it is BS and those in charge of enforcing it do as well.

so what happened here? nothing? are they still counting votes or is it over? american politics is a trip . it seems like there is always an election on the horizon . if its not the presidential its the midterms if not that its party leadership nominations . our election gets announced and is over within 60 days . it can be as short as 36 days . all the votes are counted in one night and its over for 5 years .
Status quo election. Basically all incumbent Governors and Senators won. Republicans did good in Florida, New York, and possibly Arizona. Democrats did well everywhere else. The Republicans are gonna win the House which means Nancy Pelosi won't be the speaker anymore and all the stupid bullshit the House Dems were doing is done in January when he Republicans take over. The Senate is still waiting on Arizona and Nevada. If the Dems win both, they'll keep the Senate. If they only win 1 then the race in Georgia matters because they basically have a "do over" in a month because they need to win 50% of the vote which neither did so that requires a run-off in a month...
