And then some teams have their 35 year old QB finally graduate and they have to start over, tumbling their way into "damn we fell just short" status year after year after year.
Two titles in the last 50 years
3-4 in the playoffs
Sub .500 bowl record
Vs
Three titles in the last 50 years
5-1 in the playoffs
.631 bowl record

Big yikes. But I'm sure it was awesome to be a fan back in the 1940s/60s. A lot easier to win before integration. But hey, this could be the year y'all beat Michigan!

I think it's cool when solid football programs schedule tough out-of-conference opponents early in the season.

I'm really looking forward to tOSU @ Notre Dame game in September.

Which barn-burner ooc opponent for UGA are you most looking forward to? UT Martin, Ball State or UAB?

Don't bother. He's an SEC honk.

Ironically, the "road games" the SEC travels to for their bowl games are barely long enough to have time to honk.

I wish those fucking pussies would head up north and play in the snow.

UGA got screwed with the Oklahoma thing. Very few programs schedule OOC UGA does usually though.
They have Clemson, home and home with UCLA and Louisville and FSU, etc scheduled. They They played Oregon last year. They just finished up a home and home with ND. It's definitely a shitty schedule this year

I remember when UGA and Ohio State had a home and home scheduled, then urban showed up and cried to have it cancelled. Don't worry, it's rescheduled and UGA is going to Ohio State

Just like they went to Notre Dame, they're going to UCLA, they were going to Oklahoma.

But when you're in the southeast you don't have to travel far to play the best teams. Look at the teams that have won national titles this century and where they're located.

Yeah. UGA schedule is very boring this year. Even the SEC games.

I did see UGA stoned up and scheduled a home/away with tOSU in 2030 & 2031.

The Bucks probably take both games, but the one at UGA will be close. Probably something like 24-20.

You mean tOSU stoned up and rescheduled the series they cancelled? Hopefully y'all don't back out, again

I think the 2020/2021 games were cancelled because of a B1G agreement with the Pac12. Well, the contract was never signed so they weren't cancelled - just never solidified. They were "cancelled" like 8 years before they were originally planned to take place. It's not like they changed their mind the year before it was set to go down.

Ohio State has Southern Miss and Western Michigan next year OOC
Brutal slate
And @ ND

They always have a few warm up games just like everyone else.

I see UGA decided to have a warm up regular season. Like every single game.

When you live on SEC country college football is about all you have to look forward to. I get it.

They signed a letter of understanding but it was tOSU who changed the plan.

Georgia athletic director Greg McGarity told the Athens Banner-Herald. "The bottom line, they said they couldn’t play."
I'm sure the Georgia athletic director has no bias in the matter.

As I understand it, it was more of a league thing with the PAC. I think that was when the Buckeyes had the Oregon games.

Again - this all went down in 2012 for the 2021 season. Haha.

Wasn't that the year y'all barely beat Cincy at the Peach Bowl? I don't remember - Where do they play that bowl game?

not true. @ND is this year, not in 24. Ohio State schedule next year is worse than UGAs this yey
I was talking about this upcoming season. Bucks play @ ND.

Yes. The 2024 ooc for tOSU is horrible. Not sure what happened there. They start the Texas series in 2025.

And I was talking about the '24. At least UGA has a reason their schedule sucks this year. Ohio State has no excuse for next season.

But look ahead at both schools OOC for the next decade plus. UGA is killing it. I like Ohio State scheduled a home and home with Alabama far enough in the future that Saban will be retired lol

No, the '21 season ended with UGA as the national champions, including an easy layup win vs Michigan. What did Ohio State do that season?
When did they barely beat Cincy?
At a bowl game? In Georgia?

It wasn't that long ago.

What is their excuse for having a sucky schedule this year?
