Baseball is pretty big globally, big enough that there's an actual world championship where countries send national teams (America has actually never won it) Basketball is also growing immensely globally, and hockey is already a widely played sport. I actually chuckle when I hear that soccer is "the world's game" it's huge in a handful of countries who suck at every other sport, and countries who can't afford to play anything else. More like the rest of the world's game.
The only fact in this post is that the U.S. has never actually won the baseball world championships.
