Go ahead tell me what other sports Germany, Italy, and Spain are good at. I'll wait. The only fact in this post is that the U.S. has never actually won the baseball world championships.
Interesting.

Passing lane. It's a passing lane.I ask myself this every day. Nothing pisses me off more than someone driving 60 in the fast lane, and it happens ALL the fucking time over here. Like our driving schools never taught people to get the fuck over into the slow lane, or people just dont care about being assholes. Either way, it drives me crazy.
So let me get that straight, you put out an outrageous statement, and then expect someone whose feathers you have ruffled to do work for you? How about you do some research yourself?Go ahead tell me what other sports Germany, Italy, and Spain are good at. I'll wait.
the alpine region people can luge the hell out of a mountain. i think spain has great bull fighters or maybe sprinters because they practice running from those bulls in pamplomaGo ahead tell me what other sports Germany, Italy, and Spain are good at. I'll wait.
Not worth it to answer him on on that.the alpine region people can luge the hell out of a mountain. i think spain has great bull fighters or maybe sprinters because they practice running from those bulls in pamploma
oh..and italian people are good at soccer by the time they're 5.
in general.
I didn't put out an outrageous statement. I put out an objective statement. The knee jerk reaction is "No, I've always been told Soccer is the world's game so it must be true." People don't bother to look and say "Holy fuck I hadn't thought of it that way, Basketball and Rugby are popular in places where soccer isn't AND it's growing in places where soccer already is" They don't even acknowledge that the same attitude they accuse Americans of having about soccer, they have about anything that isn't soccer. So let me get that straight, you put out an outrageous statement, and then expect someone whose feathers you have ruffled to do work for you? How about you do some research yourself?
The most popular sport at the winter games is hands down Ice Hockey. Winter games also aren't universally popular. Not worth it to answer him on on that.
He just needs to take a look at the all-time Olympic Games medal table. And don’t forget the winter games.
Have you never heard of European Handball FFS?Go ahead tell me what other sports Germany, Italy, and Spain are good at. I'll wait.

Like illiteracy in the developed world and obesity! It's like we lead the world in everything worth leading.
This one?
It's like we lead the world in everything worth leading.
Yes, this one! Hahaha this was soooo clear.
This one?
It's like we lead the world in everything worth leading.
This is an outrageous statement because its wrong on so many levels. But you can specify if you want to. Though I doubt there is much substance behind that.I actually chuckle when I hear that soccer is "the world's game" it's huge in a handful of countries who suck at every other sport, and countries who can't afford to play anything else. More like the rest of the world's game.
Go ahead tell me what other sports Germany, Italy, and Spain are good at. I'll wait.
You see the difference? First its other sports, but now its about popularity? Why? And Olympic sports are not popular? Sure thang. The most popular sport at the winter games is hands down Ice Hockey. Winter games also aren't universally popular.
Wait so you want me to formulate your argument for you? How about no?Yes, this one! Hahaha this was soooo clear.
And now, how about you go to the actual numbers, and do some math and see how it correlates to the number of people in each country.
Then come back and tell me we are bad at every other sport than football. Lol.
I was thinking # of Olympic medals earned, military spending, military strength and reach, # of UFC champions, and # of internationally top-ranked universities.Like illiteracy in the developed world and obesity!
YAAAY
Income inequality and most deaths for uninsured health care patients per annum?I was thinking # of Olympic medals earned, military spending, military strength and reach, # of UFC champions, and # of internationally top-ranked universities.
But yeah I guess whatever you said, too.
Of course popularity is relevant. Being the best in the world at a sport only one country plays, like America with football, makes your skill at it irrelevant in a global conversation. Winter sports are not universally popular, almost half of the world lacks the ability to play them. The fact that you'd pretend they are is indicative of your lack of objectivity. Yes, Spain is getting really good at basketball unfortunately that speaks more to my point about other sports growing in countries where soccer once completely ruled the landscape, than it does to negate it. The same thing is happening in Argentina, Italy, and Brazil.Hmkay.

And Spain.. are not good at Basketball?
Well you jumped into this discussion without the proper thinking. But your graph seems weird anyway.Wait so you want me to formulate your argument for you? How about no?
Absolutely not, but I will allow you to board the USS Gerald Ford as we launch one using our brand new Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System. Can I has F 22?
We're still #1, even on your National Socialist chart.Well you jumped into this discussion without the proper thinking. But your graph seems weird anyway.
What plane can I has?Absolutely not, but I will allow you to board the USS Gerald Ford as we launch one using our brand new Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System.
Continental Europeans look at this and say "Wow! You mean you can launch fighter jets from ships!!??"
