The FBI had a press conference. They confirmed it was an assassination attempt, but everyone knew that. They also said the shooter didn't have ID on him, so they're using biometrics and DNA to ID him.

What are the odds this guy shows up to kill Trump ,and just happens to know a building 100 yards out would be free and clear? Someone had to tip him off to a location.

He lives about an hour away, so I wouldn't be surprised if he knew the area and/or some people there.

Ban 8 round clips.
And AR-27's.

Violence is never the answer, now.

The next stage...and you can see it on this thread perfectly being played out by the usual suspect/s is the announcement of an upcoming civil war.

I reckon in about weekTrump will allude to one as well.

No genuine Democrat voter will have wanted this to happen. It makes trump a martyr. And it gives carte blanche to bring in radical fascist laws when he gets in power.

Because in the 4 years he was already in power that's what happened? That type of rhetoric is nothing but fear propaganda from the left-wing media. It's about as dumb as the "Democracy is on the ballot" bullshit.

It's not like he weaponized the media with heavy censorship and outright lies. Or used the judicial system to try to take out his political opponents. Nor did he have the FBI squash the truth about corrupt business deals with foreign entities. That was all done by the "good" guys currently in power.

I went to an Obama rally once before he was President. It was an outdoor rally with buildings all over the place. There were Secret Service agents on every single building. This was literally the closest building to Trump. There is no way this was just an oversight. Inside job.

He did weaponise the media though.

He did try and get Mike pence hung. He did steal nuclear secrets. He did stack the judicial system with ultra right wing religious nuts.

He did fill his hotels with foreign entities for business deals.

This is just facts. But of course the right wing forgive everything he does.

Complete ineptitude or inside job.

It's a flat roof. Based on my Google Map Image skills, I show the shot as less than 400'
That is well within what the secret service would consider a threat distance. With a rifle and scope, that isn't an overly difficult shot. Especially from an elevated position, lying prone and aiming at a stationary target.

The media is saying it was an "AR style" rifle - which for those dipshits just means it was black. An AR isn't really a great choice for a long range snipe unless it is built specifically for that purpose. It will be interesting if we get any details on the weapon.

How did he weaponize the media? Weaponizing the media would be like actively having platforms suppress, throttle or outright delete information or posts that didn't align with the desired narrative. That happened with the fabricated Russia Gate. That happened with Hunter's laptop. Burisma. Covid-19. Fauci.

Stealing nuclear secrets? Are you referring to the documents? My assumption is the media grossly exaggerated what was actually there and tried to make it appear to be way worse than what it was. You say the word "nuclear" and everyone's ears perk up. Regardless - I'd rather those "secrets" be in a box in a basement of Mar-A-Lago than living in Biden's compromised brain.

Supreme Court ultra right wing religious nuts? Maybe do some research instead of parroting what you hear on CNN. Just because someone believes in God doesn't mean they're a lunatic. The abortion thing had been talked about for decades - moving that decision back to the states where it should have been all along. Or at some point in those 50 years it should have been codified into law. I didn't agree with tSCOTUS decision WHEN they reversed it because - politically - it was horrible timing and was every bit as disorganized as the military withdrawal from Afghanistan. But the states will - and are - figuring it out.

Hotels? When foreign dignitaries come to the United States they have to sleep somewhere. During previous administrations that was sometimes at hotels that were operated under the Trump name. So when it happens when Trump is POTUS it's now to conduct "secret, backhanded business deals"? Give me a break. That's a nothing burger.

Here's the building the shooter was on top of as seen from the parking lot.
The red barns to the left were the ones behind Trump that had the Secret Service snipers positioned on who eventually killed the shooter.
