Some reason I could never get into the pacific. Love BofB, have a book from Dick Winters personal library in a shadowbox hanging in my restaurant.

I have those two box sets, amazing series.

Generation Kill is a nice piece of work as well.

Rambo (1-5)is the Greatest Documentary Series of All Time, but I am obviously biased and personally invested.

Ya, Platoon,FMJ... but the two I metioned are the best, Pacific and BOB capture the wars... imo opinion of course.pacific.gif

Private Ryan was great, but had flaws... like the beach landing, great scene, but the unintentional comedy ruined it...the soldier who nearly bit it, removed his helmet, THEN bit it, dark comedy wrecked that scene imo...

But somehow Speiberg and Hanks found the path...

I know lots don't like it but I enjoy The Thin Red Line a lot

The second half of Duck You Sucker or A Fisfull of Dynamite is a pretty great War film
