Mine is. I've been wearing the VTAC battle belt for 8 years. In that time I've seen the belt systems pendulum swing way the fuck around. For a while when I was in the CRF, guys were all about "action pants" which was just a regular stiff belt with just holster 2-3 pistol mag pouches, and 1 rifle mag pouch. I never liked that because you had to take that shit apart every time you wanted to wash your nasty ass assault pants.

About 5 years ago I added suspenders to my battle belt to keep it from sliding around on ops. I'll grab a pic of the rig tomorrow. Anyway holster, 3 pistol mags, 1 rifle mag, dump pouch, tourniquet and a grenade pouch. Adding the suspenders I was like man I'm just wearing an LBE at this point.

I need advice on a setup when I move in Nov. Im ghetto.....LBE, pussy pad, 3 shingle (2 mismatched) and 2 pistol mags. Pretty sure people thought I was retarded last time I shot a course in 2015. I had a SEAL ask me...."who are you with?" I told him I was an "underemployed stay at home dad and used to do commo" :tearsofjoy:

Sometimes you just need a "cheat week". I think you more than deserve it brother.

Seems like the last few times I took my youngest to the beach its been red flag rough and man o'wars out in the water and on the sand....me and her out there swimming.I gotta be the dumbest father in the world.

Last time I took her, forst I bought her a 10oz bar of silver, then we sat on beach eating chow fun noodles, vegetable tempura and fried chicken. Then spent an hour swimming around fighting the current and dodging the man o'wars. Shave ice (snow cones) on way home.

Shit any time you can spend with a daughter her age is quality time. How are the girls doing about their mom?

Parents are building an AR for me. It'll have a .223 Wylde barrel. I never heard of it. Thoughts/opinions?
.223 Wylde is a .223 chamber with longer throat dimensions, so it's built to shoot both .223 and 5.56 ammosafely. MOST modern AR's in .223 can fire 5.56 safely, but back in the day that wasn't always true. There are pressure differences between the two cartridges, so you could blow up a .223 if you ran too many hot 5.56 rounds through it.

.223 Wylde takes the guesswork out, so you can shoot either cartridge without issue...

There is some lingering things....expected. But I think they are mire resilient than me. Too old and not adaptable after so long together.

I honestly dont know what im doing beyond move. Brain dumping into a partner my VT-ish jiuuitsu bullshit, because I dont see myself doing it. Need to retrain shooting...but do I really? Going hunting here for last time...not taking rifle, just be with the guys. Buying a new bike is about the only thing I can think of and maybe riadteipping to see the country I used to love. Then what?!?!

Knocks off $11....still spendy though.
Just installed the gas pedal and will live test it the day after tomorrow. Install is a pain in the ass because of the stupid ass design of Smith and Wesson. Install on a Glock should be easy. Smith and Wesson: The frame pin near the trigger guard retains the trigger spring. It's a pain in the ass to align the end of the trigger spring so it aligns with the pin as you put it in place. The included tool didn't help and I ended up using a small pin that came with my Apex trigger that was designed to help capture and align the trigger spring as you push the frame pin in place.

The gas pedal will change my support hand grip placement. I've been using Jedlinki's Wave grip, which he places high on the slide. The gas pedal aligns the support hand back down to the frame. I ordered the #3 part and probably should have ordered the #2. #3 is too far forward for me and my small girly sized hands.

It's a tight fit in my IWB appendix holster. The collapsable gas pedal sticks a bit out, even when folded. If I end up liking the gas pedal, I'll buy a heat gun and reform the holster. No issues drawing but hangs a bit when holstering.
